Yesterday, we went to Trani with friends and... by chance... we stumbled upon the Pescandolo Restaurant... the interior is beautiful, very well-kept, and the open kitchen is splendid, facing the diners... the staff welcomed us and served us with great professionalism... and what can I say about the SUPERLATIVE dishes? So if you're passing through Trani, stop at Pescandolo. Paola

We decided to try this restaurant because its reputation preceded it. The fish we ate was excellent. We really enjoyed the carpaccio and the pasta dishes, the restaurant's flagship dishes. However, we expected much more from a restaurant with such high prices. What really disappointed us was the service. The waiters constantly checked to see if we were finished and would quickly take our plates away while we were eating. For someone coming from out of town and having to finish their meal in less than 30 minutes, the experience wasn't the best, despite the excellent quality of the food.

Il ristorante in pieno centro storico di Trani è davvero un oasi di piacere,, dalla location al cibo, passando per l'accoglienza è un susseguirsi crescendo di emozioni. Esperienza consigliata a tutti da vivere in pieno relax

16/09/2025: Excellent food, few dishes but perfectly executed, divine fried fish, dry and crunchy at the same time, delicious desserts, very balanced and not at all too sweet which sometimes makes you sick, I would go back.
08/09/2025: The atmosphere is welcoming and relaxing. I appreciated the professionalism and courtesy of the waiters. I highly recommend it.

09/09/2025: The service was excellent. Laura was courteous and kind, and Paolo recommended some delicious dishes. The rice, potatoes, and mussels were delicious! When we pass through Trani again, we'll definitely be back!
31/08/2025: Spectacular lunch. I came with my mother; we stopped by chance, and I'd say by luck. I work in Michelin-starred restaurants, and I can assure you the fish is incredibly fresh. A must-try if you're in Trani. Really fair prices, and super friendly and helpful staff.
