One of the trattoria-restaurants along the main street of Venaria Reale, near the entrance to the Palace. There are several outdoor tables, but they're all small (two couples with children sat at different tables). Good service, friendly and helpful staff (they were attentive to our little girl, who's just over a year old). The agnolotti and tajarin are very good. Overall, the food is good because it maintains tradition despite being in a very touristy area. Definitely worth a try!

The agnolotti and all the main courses we ordered were excellent, except for the tagliata, which was tough and dry. However, once we pointed this out, it was removed from our final bill.

We went to dinner last night at this lovely place recommended by Cascina di Corte, where we were staying. The atmosphere was beautiful and welcoming. The service was very attentive and meticulous in every detail. We ate truly well, with bold, clear flavors. Top-quality ingredients were used beautifully. From appetizers to dessert, everything was delicious. If we ever get back to the area, we'll definitely be back. They also offer a children's menu; having a baby girl means we have to consider these things too.
Unfortunately, photos aren't our priority because we're just eating and enjoying the moment.

Overall, we ate well, and the staff was friendly.
The appetizer (Piemonte in 6 bites) was good and balanced.
The main courses partially convinced us: the braised beef was tender and the sauce tasty; the tagliata, however, should have had aromatic potatoes, which turned out to be just ordinary baked potatoes; the meat should have been desalted, leaving the customer free to decide how to enjoy it. Overall, the dishes were good.
The price was excessive for the amount consumed, perhaps due to the location (very close to the Royal Palace).
The desserts were good.
Our table was in front of the wine cabinet, so the waiters had to lean over twice to retrieve bottles.
