26/03/2025: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Fantastic Pizza & Great Atmosphere!
One of the best pizzerias I’ve been to! The pizza was authentic, flavorful, and perfectly baked, with a crispy yet soft crust. The ingredients were incredibly fresh.
The staff was friendly and attentive, making the experience even better. The restaurant has a cozy and welcoming ambiance, perfect for a casual meal.
20/03/2025: This is both a pizzeria and much more than a pizzeria!
Here you can enjoy pizzas prepared with top qualities ingredients and by following procedures that make them, not only incredibly tasty in their own unique way, but also very healthy.
I've not been able to taste everything, but I'll explore the rest of the menu the next times I'll come to Levanto.
I've tasted pizzata, which is a traditional and original pizza typical of Eastern Liguria (Ponente Ligure), with top quality anchovies, top quality stracchino (a cheese), and top quality capers. Basically, it is a revisitation of the original recipe, but believe me, if you are very fond of the traditional one (as I am), you'll love their one too!
Then I had gattafin(s), fried panzerotti stuffed with Ligurian vegetables (a panzerotto is a sort of fried dumpling), which is typical of Levanto. Honestly, they were among very best I've had so far the opportunity to taste in Levanto. Masterfully fried as they are, at first glace I believed they were baked!
Finally (curious as I became), I had strapassata al pesto, made with top quality artisal pesto, top quality stracchino, top quality toasted pine nuts, and to quality freshly flaked grana (a cheese similar to Parmesan).
Last but not least, they have, not only excellent Genoese craft bears, but also top quality wines that can also be drunk by the glass (i.e., without buying the entire bottler). In Italy (including Naples), we also eat pizza with wine.
On the top of this, they are exceptionally friendly.
