I'll be happy to eat there again

I made a dinner reservation and visited this restaurant, but I regretted not ordering bruschetta for just a small lunch. This is because the steak was really delicious, but I was already full and had the bruschetta as an appetizer, so I could only eat a few pieces 😭 I ordered a T-bone with just the sirloin attached (costata), and it was tender, meaty, and one of the best steaks of my life. He showed me how to eat it by pouring olive oil and salt on it, and it tasted really good. Every time I eat steak at other restaurants in Florence, I think of this restaurant 🥺 However, it was my first time trying bruschetta and I was a bit disappointed. In particular, the one with the truffle on top had a jelly-like texture that seemed a bit nauseating, and the one with chicken liver was the best, but the visuals were a bit... 😅 I really regret not having filled my stomach with this and eating more meat. I don't recommend the bruschetta. But be sure to eat the T-bone steak!!! It was a bit humid and hot inside the restaurant. Bring a hand fan in the summer!

We went for lunch today. We are greeted by a waiter and we order. We get the really excellent first courses, for me tortelli stuffed with potatoes with guinea fowl ragù (a slightly bland ragù, I would have preferred it a little more spicy, while the filling of the tortelli is truly amazing) I tried the Pici with cinta ragù and anise, really excellent, but with a slightly larger portion it wouldn't have gone amiss, on the contrary! Second course: 2kg Florentine steak for 4 people, the boy brings it to the table and gives us an elegant and remarkable service and plating. It was really good and juicy, cooked rare to perfection. We order two side dishes together with the second courses and unfortunately here we run into a problem. The baked potatoes arrive when the Florentine steak is almost finished and the beans arrive even later. So maybe I recommend paying a little more attention to having second courses and side dishes arrive together. Also two bottles of wine, very good. Good coffee. The restaurant environment is very intimate and atmospheric, overall we were satisfied. Fair value for money. The guy who served us was very good.

Visited the restaurant because of all the great recommendations. Nice place. However, we were a little disappointed. We ordered the Bistecca - it was delicious. However, the side dishes were a bit boring and tasteless. We also reacted to the fact that the red wine we were poured into the glass was refrigerator cold, which felt very strange. The staff this evening was also lacking. We received a nice welcome into the restaurant, but after that the service felt quite bad. Inattentive and not particularly nice. Unfortunately, we don't think the experience is worth the price you have to pay.

I highly recommend this osteria. We were able to taste: the truffle ravioli, the Florentin steak and finally a tiramisu. A treat 😋

All very rich! It's worth it!!! And the recommended wine was good too. It was a little hot inside, the only thing.

I'm in love. One of the best restaurant experiences I've had in some time

We’ve been to Florence several times; most of the restaurants we usually go to were closed due to the bank holiday weekend. Due to high ratings, we went ahead and booked for this restaurant. Though service was top notch, the scorching heat in the room where there was not enough air (not looking for AC) to comfortably eat made the experience rather poor. The pasta dishes were simple; nothing we would recommend. We didn’t go for the meat. Perhaps that’s what people are craving for. Rather full of tourists.

Abbiamo mangiato veramente bene! Fettuccine al ragù di cinghiale da Oscar e qualità degli affettati altissima, il lardo sul filetto si scioglieva in bocca e quando siamo usciti ci hanno regalato anche una bottiglia di vino, stra consigliato!

Locale molto grazioso e accogliente. Abbiamo mangiato BENISSIMO! In 3: Antipasto di bruschette ai fegatini, e bruschette con lardo di colonnata e tartufo fresco, ottime. Una fiorentina da sciogliersi in bocca. Eccellente, cotta alla perfezione, condita con ottimo olio toscano e sale nero. Pici all'anice a detta della mia amica, squisiti. Vino della casa buono Servizio professionale e simpatico Conto giusto pagato volentieri! ( 2 antipasti, 1 primo, 1,140 gr di carne, 2 contorni, vino e acqua,caffe=140euro) Voto complessivo: un bel 10
