Osteria RossoDiVino In Taormina

We went in winter, but I really liked it.

Osteria Rosso DiVino was an really nice place to enjoy lunch. My wife and I both ordered the Lamb and potatoes. Absolutely cooked perfectly, with our choice of medium rare. Osteria Rosso DiVino has a nice ambiance, a place well worth trying. Although it’s mostly a sea food restaurant, it still was a very nice place to experience. The bread that’s served is made in the premises and was absolutely fresh! The service was second to none. Staff who had such a nice approach as soon as you walked in. That’s the Sicilian way though.

What can I say? Definitely one of the best restaurants in Taormina. The fish is fine and very fresh and the dishes are presented and prepared perfectly. Furthermore, the wine list is excellent. A place to go again and again.

The most pesto pasta is amazing

Just go! Everything was incredible. Service was great food was top-notch. We had fish two way and the pumpkin seafood pasta. Everything was incredible. They also had a different twist on a tear that ended up being quite delicious.

Unfortunately I can't share the positive reviews. The location on a side street with a view of walls and house walls is not a nice ambience, at least outside. Yes, the owner and the employees were attentive and quick. But a glass of Nero di Avola for €15, linguine with pesto and broccoli for €25 and spaghetti with prawns for €35!? The price bears no relation to the cost of goods sold. Therefore, NO recommendation from me.

We had a delicious fresh fish dinner. Everything was so good and the atmosphere is very quiet and romantic. Sarah and Jacquelin were wonderful. They created a relaxing terrific atmosphere. We highly recommend. They have a sister restaurant called La Tavernetta and that was delicious also. We highly recommend both restaurants. Be sure to make reservations

My family and I were blown away by this restaurant. My husband can confidentially say one of its daily catches cooked Sicilian style (olives, capers, and tomatoes) was his favorite "bite" in Sicily. Attentive service. Tasty homemade bread with high-quality olive oil.

The food, wine and service were all phenomenal in this restaurant tucked away in a quiet and romantic courtyard. Sisters Sarah and Jaqueline are a power house running this restaurant. We knew it was going to be a great night and that we were in good hands by the way Sarah greeted us. The hospitality is over the top, as if all customers are family. Sarah was passionate in how she described the specials. Bringing a tray of the freshly caught fish was a treat. The chefs are skilled at preparing the fish you choose in a number of different ways. My husband enjoys fine wine and Sarah had wonderful expertise in knowing which Sicilian wines would best accompany what we ordered. A personal favorite was the pasta with Rock Lobster and Sea Bass with vegetables. As an American I personally appreciated that they did not drag out our dinner for hours and hours. The two young men who quietly shuttled dishes from the kitchen and discreetly cleared tables were a delight. We will be back.
