Osteria RossoDiVino In Taormina

We had lunch at this Osteria on a Sunday in October. It's a secluded and welcoming place, the staff are polite and professional, and the food is very good. We ordered a fish parmigiana, which was good but a bit bland. We followed it with a baked grouper with citrus fruits and spinach, which was very good. It's a shame the spinach wasn't enough, and they didn't provide us with the weight of the grouper, which, given that it was fresh and weighed, should have been provided. The only downside is the excessively high bill: €90 per kilo for the fish and €20 for a glass of wine seems excessive to me.

The service was genuine and warm, and they weren’t pushy to upsell. I appreciated their clear explanation of the catch of the day, including the offer to have the fish prepared in two ways: Sicilian capers and sultana stew, and homemade breadcrumbs. The fish was fresh and perfectly cooked. Kudos to the service team and chef!

What a truly great restaurant. We walked in at lunch time to be greeted by a very friendly team who served amazing food. We had the raw fish special and Jacqueline was passionately explaining where the food came from and how things were done. The food & local wine, along with the whole experience were nothing short of superb. We will definitely be going back again on our next trip to Taormina

An absolutely outstanding dining experience in Taormina! The food was extraordinary — every dish full of authentic Sicilian flavor and perfectly prepared. Jacqueline, the owner, made the evening truly unforgettable, welcoming us with warmth and charm into a genuine Sicilian atmosphere. Everything, from the wine to the unique digestif at the end, was simply perfect. A true gem — highly recommended!

This restaurant was the best in Taormina and among the best in Sicily. The owner seated us and explained the menu and described the food in such a luscious manner I wanted the entire selection. The owner clearly is passionate about high quality food and service and it shows in her enthusiasm and the quality of the meal and overall experience. Service was amazing and the staff was really on point! Owner gave amazing wine recommendations to pair with the food. The seafood sampler appetizer was the best I’ve ever had, so fresh! Location is to die for, a few streets away from the main Corso Umberto so not noisy, and the atmosphere was a very old world feel, very romantic as well. This restaurant is really at the top of their game and owner and staff showed us true Sicilian hospitality and quality. I would return to Taormina literally just to dine here!

Delicious seafood in a nice atmosphere. I love the fact that they have few but very well executed plates plus the ones of the day. Great wine menu - probably a bit to expensive - it could have more affordable bottles in there given how rich is the territory. But overall we had a great time

Very good address where you are sheltered from the pedestrian street with its many tourists, everything is homemade, the staff is passionate about their products and is very friendly, a getaway not to be missed 😋

I cannot emphasize enough how amazing this place is. The staff is charming. The wine list is excellent. The cocktails are great. The setting is intimate. And the food is delicious. We loved the entire experience. We ended up eating there twice in a row. The second night they were kind enough to accomodate us without a reservation. This is a must if you find yourself in Taormina and want to avoid a tourist trap.

Osteria Rosso Divino es innegablemente hermoso. El ambiente es refinado, el diseño es elegante, y el personal era amable y profesional. Los cócteles estaban bien hechos, aunque a 18€ cada uno, eso es de esperar. (LV bar cobra 25 €, en comparación jajaja) La verdadera decepción fue la comida. Pedí la pasta de camarones por 40 €, y era completamente plana —sin sabores memorables, sin creatividad, nada especial. Las trufas sabían a trozos de papel de cera, sin sabor, secas y sin vida. El tártaro de pescado, un plato que se basa en el condimento no entregó nada. En este punto de precio, esperas un plato que te sorprenda o que al menos destaque. Al final, este es un lugar que consigue el ambiente correcto, pero pierde la marca en la comida. 190 euros después nos fuimos completamente insatisfechos. Bien para una bebida cara en un entorno hermoso, pero si vas a una comida memorable, es posible que desee buscar en otro lugar.

Il ristorante si trova in un bel vicolo di Taormina, lontano dal caos. Il pesce è buono e molto fresco e la proprietaria molto cordiale e competente. Attenzione ai prezzi peró, soprattutto del vino, poichè abbiamo pagato un calice circa 16 euro. Nel complesso la qualità è ottima ma per un antipasto e un primo non spenderete meno di 80 euro a testa.
