My husband, son, and I had lunch there on July 10, 2025, and it was a truly satisfying experience in every way: warm welcome and unforgettable dishes, both in terms of the ingredients—the fantastic Polignano a Mare carrots, first and foremost—and the innovative take on traditional local cuisine. I highly recommend everyone to stop by for lunch or dinner at the wonderful Osteria Frangipane! The homemade bread and taralli are exceptional!

Last night, my husband and I decided to try Osteria after reading a very interesting article in the weekly magazine Gente, which extolled the key aspects of a good restaurant. Not only was everything we read accurate, but I would also add that the choice of ingredients, the attention to presentation, the professionalism of the staff, and the ambiance exceeded all expectations. We had a wonderful time; every single dish was served with care and attention, with unique flavors dictated by the use of excellent ingredients. The atmosphere was refined and very welcoming, and the staff was well-trained, capable, and very customer-focused. We had a wonderful evening. Highly recommended, we will be back very soon.

Everything is wonderful: the food, raw fish at the highest levels, with Margherita of marinated mussels, hairy mussels, walnuts, oysters, red shrimp and delicious fish carpaccio. Second course of fish also wonderful with innovative recipes that exploit vegetables and also local traditions. Super. Plus as a bonus, I add the monocultivar oil of "coratina" olives and the homemade bread! Insane.
Advice on the environment: very beautiful, with large vaults and inserts in the exposed stone wall. I would put warmer and dimmable bulbs, lowering the overall lumens a bit and maybe adding a small lamp at the table.

Quality fish. Traditional dishes. Tubettoni with gurnard and mussels: excellent. Good and abundant fried food. Spaghettoni with garlic, oil and chilli pepper with cicadas: not convincing. The chilli pepper covers the delicate flavour of the cicadas. Wine, finally, with human markups. Correct price
Overall a good dinner.

Una fantastica scoperta! Locale accogliente e molto pulito. Crudo freschissimo. Rombo ad acqua pazza avevo il sughetto che lo mangiato con cucchiaio.
Pane a lievito madre che fatte voi, era fine del mondo, lo mangiato tutto)))
