This review is for the restaurant I've been frequenting for several years, not the hotel. It's a historic establishment established in 1875 along an ancient equestrian trail used by Milanese nobility to reach the area on horseback. Its origins are linked to the "Pista Sant'Uberto," a private road/trail used for horseback riding: hence the name, which preserves the memory of the area and its ancient customs. The menu combines revisited classic dishes with more creative options, with the wood-fired oven as the central element of the dining experience. The pizza selection is truly extensive, including gourmet pizzas and seafood dishes; so it's a place suitable for both a full dinner and a more informal evening. There are several rooms, plus a covered veranda, and overall seating is quite large. The main dining room boasts a remarkable selection of wines; the tables are well-spaced, the restaurant offers fast service, and is very clean. Its proximity to the airport adds value to those planning to stay nearby. Recommended!

A very nice, elegant place, and the waiters were very attentive. The Burrata pizza was delicious!

Since 1875! This is both a restaurant and a hotel near Milan Malpensa Airport, perfect for an overnight stay before your next flight. (Reasonable price, large rooms that can easily accommodate 3 people, only a 15-minute drive to the airport with gas stations along the way – everything you need!) The restaurant was almost full when I went, mostly locals. All the food was delicious: Beef Tatare, Codfish + artichokes, seafood pasta, truffle & Zola (Tagliatelle al Garu + Gorgonzola cheese), Iberian Pork Pluma (the pork was a little salty, best eaten with bread). The Tiramisu dessert was okay. When ordering, I was having trouble deciding, so I asked the server what some dishes were and if they were good. He looked at me, paused, and replied, "All Italian food is good. You know that." Okay, sure, it was delicious!

Restaurant review: it's a nice dining room, service is good until they get distracted as they get busy. The food was a real disappointment, I was expecting better given the reviews. Pizza lacked flavor and crust was mid. Cacio e pepe pasta was excessively "al dente", verging on crunchy, and the lime was nice but the szechuan peppercorn was imperceptible, granted we use a ton in our home cooking. This was not the final meal in Italy that we were hoping for. Did manage to find street parking easily.

We made a brief stop and were delighted; the garden is very pretty and the hotel is very comfortable. We ate very well.

15 minutes from Malpensa and it delivered exactly what was needed. A clean room. Nice people. Affordable rates. Near the airport with a dependable shuttle. The hotel restaurant was superb, some of the best (and reasonably priced food) I've had in Milan.
