Osteria del Riccio In Sesto san giovanni

Conoscevamo da....sempre l'Osteria, abitando a SSG e di conseguenza molto comodi. Ma non è solo per questo motivo ovviamente. L'Osteria disponendo di due sale (per 10 tavoli) offre la possibilità di organizzare qualche evento (non numeroso) o una cena discreta nella piccola sala. Luciana e Giuseppe sanno accogliere i loro ospiti con l'usuale cortesia e professionalità, mettendoti a tuo agio. Menù del territorio (Lombardia) e special quali la casoeula. Noi lo frequentiamo soprattuto in autunno e inverno trovando il menù più adatto a queste stagioni, ma si può approfittare del dehor in estate. Assolutamente consigliabile.

Location: small, warm and welcoming. There will be approximately just under 10 tables, which is why reservations are required. Very clean, very elegant tavern with attention to detail Service: the owners are truly welcoming, humble and helpful. One of the two heard us talking about the cooking method for a cream and came to chat with us about the recipe. Chapeau. Food: perfect. Every course screamed the quality of the basic ingredients: from the simplest starter platter, moving on to the more or less complex first courses (a revisited standard and a stuffed pasta topped with green beans and cream) and the desserts (a tiramisu and a bonnet). What is striking is the ability to prepare simple dishes revisited or not (the tiramisu was light and creamy, the norm in its simplicity had an aubergine cream as a base which was a delight), and more complex dishes which are perfectly balanced such as the "Scrigni with burrata from Puglia on a cream of courgettes with mint and saffron with sotè of green beans marinated in basil" (reading it it seems like an abomination of crossbreeding, tasting it you recognize all the flavors perfectly even if they blend perfectly). What can I say, I'll be back: I'm curious about what other simple flavors they can rework, and what complex flavors they can make me discover. 5 stars deserved!!

A somewhat anonymous place characterized by an improvable menu. Decent wine list.

Il cibo e ingredienti utilizzati sembrano davvero buoni. Il servizio è attento e discreto. L'atmosfera è rilassata. Pochi tavoli.

Very good food, especially the starter with cured meats. The crescenta is of excellent quality and the first course was excellent. Prices quite high for a tavern but for the quality of the food it was still worth it
