The restaurant is open at a time when all others are closed for siesta, which is an undoubted plus. The food is tasty, typically Italian and port, fresh seafood and fish. A very good appetizer of breaded mussels. Homemade desserts are very good

The covered portico was much appreciated on the windy night, we watched the sun set as our prosciutto and melon was served. My cavatelli with mixed seafood was so fresh I could taste the sea. My partner is not a huge seafood fan but his beef steak was tender and huge! The local cake filled with custard and cream was absolutely delicious. The veteran staff expertly hosted and served food as the tables filled twice over when we were there. There was a huge group inside that started singing as we left, everyone had a jolly time.

We went for lunch during the week and it was full! The food is good, nothing special, I must say that the hospitality is very good, as soon as we sat down they brought us the classic focaccia pugliese with cherry tomatoes and very good bread. Overall good, slightly more expensive than the other 2 restaurants nearby. Very little space between the tables

Quì è difficile imboccare una strada sbagliata, frequento l osteria da un decennio e lo ritengo il migliore del circondario ampio, per rapporto qualità prezzo, tuttavia non ho lasciato il massimo del punteggio perchè ricci, tagliatelle e sopratutto violette non erano all altezza delle precedenti aspettative . Ciò non toglie che l osteria in rima resta sempre una garanzia.

Location pazzesca sul piccolo porto di Savalletri ,locale informale ,sono dei professionisti della ristorazione, pesce freschissimo , cucinato comunque in maniera raffinata .

27/06/2025: Great welcome and an excellent grilled octopus ciabatta sandwich. A real treat! A bonus for French speakers is that the owner, who is adorable, speaks French. Happy Hour is advertised from 7 to 8 p.m. I'll try to let you know one evening before my departure!
10/06/2025: I discovered this place while walking around Mesagne a couple of weeks ago, and I have to admit that it was a very pleasant discovery. The products are of excellent quality and the owner is very kind, but above all the atmosphere is quiet. I recommend this place and especially its grilled octopus sandwich😍

11/06/2025: Escribo. Ausonia es mi oficina y paso fácilmente 6 horas al día allí. El personal es absolutamente fabuloso, súper eficiente y amable. Porque ocasionalmente le traigo a mi gato Walpole que en realidad puso una cara de gato en mi espuma de capuchino.
