My first and most enjoyable experience at Osteria del Carro was a sliced steak seasoned with flavored salt, an appetizer of light fried dishes, and an excellent red wine recommended by the host, a blend of two grape varieties. The lemon semifreddo was refreshing after such flavorful dishes. Overall, I found courtesy, authenticity, and excellent value. I'll definitely be back!

The food is good, but the cheesecake leaves much to be desired in both taste and presentation (it's three separate spoonfuls with scattered cookie crumbs and drizzles of your chosen topping). The platter for two is well-priced, but in reality, almost everything is meant to be split in half. Friendly staff.

We had two fried garden vegetables for dinner,
a slice of lard steak, a lamb chop,
a crema catalana, and coffee.
Aside from the fried food and the delicious meat, which shouldn't be underestimated, what struck us most (so much so that we're writing this review while still at the table) was the kindness and professionalism of the staff. Our compliments, truly.

Even just for the time to enjoy a delicious grilled steak, accompanied by sautéed herbs, it is worth stopping at this typical restaurant located on the lakeside of Passignano al Trasimeno.
Helped by a still white wine and a courteous and efficient service, that hour spent sitting at the wagon observer's table was a real pleasure. Well done, we will return.

We had a great dinner, excellent meat dishes, excellent service, excellent atmosphere, little chaos.
I recommend booking because on Saturday we had to wait a bit but it was worth it. Congratulations.

Il Carro è ormai tappa fissa per noi ogni qualvolta ci rechiamo al lago Trasimeno. Personale gentile ed accogliente, atmosfera rilassante. Abbiamo scelto l’antipasto carrettino con un misto di salumi, formaggi e prelibatezze varie di una bontà divina. Pappardelle al ragù considerate tra le più buone mai mangiate idem per la bistecca alla brace. Eccezionale veramente! Vorremmo poter dare la sesta stella! Consigliatissimo

Di passaggio per Perugia abbiamo deciso di prenotare questo locale. Abbiamo preso antipasto, tagliata e pizza… servizio efficiente e familiare. Qualità/prezzo secondo me nn ben bilanciato.
