A true osteria in Spello. It doesn't have many seats, and the food is authentic and plentiful. The atmosphere is reminiscent of an Umbrian osteria. The lady (the owner, I think) is very friendly and kind, and knows her job very well. We ordered a platter for two, and I have to say that alone would have been enough, but I couldn't resist the first courses. Highly recommended.

A good restaurant in Spello. Small but cozy, with a clientele of Italians and tourists. The atmosphere is a bit noisy. The service is efficient and friendly. The cuisine is home-style and typical of Umbria. The prices are very reasonable.

Passing through Assisi after a morning in the historic center, we ate as a couple at this little place. It perfectly reflects my idea of ​​an osteria: home-style cooking in a very informal setting. Excellent dishes at more than fair prices. Given the reviews, I booked well in advance. In fact, there are only a few seats available. Anyway, I'm very satisfied with my choice.

Great location, excellent food. I had a torta al testo, fantastic bacon gnocchi, and an Umbrian dessert. A fantastic place with a typically Central Italian style.

19/05/2026: We had lunch here during the week of Calendimaggio and I had the special meal that came on and with the commemorative plate. The plate is beautiful! I was prepared to have a mediocre meal, because of the plate, but instead had an awesome and very special meal. I did share with my husband (some) because there was so much, but his meal was very satisfying too.

Le delizie del borgo

21/07/2025: We were looking for a small restaurant just outside the city and found the perfect one: Le Delizie del Borgo is located in Silvestri Park near the two city gates and the city walls, and offers regional delicacies. We had delicious gnocchi al ragu, pasta al coniglio e con olive, tagliata di manzo, and a very good white wine from Montefalco! To finish, we had a dessert with apricot soufflé and wild berry sauce, and two coffees! The food was excellent, the service very friendly, and the place quiet! The price-performance ratio was very good!
28/06/2025: The owner is kind and friendly. The restaurant is pet-friendly. The atmosphere is romantic. It's a pleasant evening, but don't expect to eat typical Umbrian dishes; the menu is somewhat contaminated, but tasty!
