I don't know if we ended up on the wrong evening but it was cold in this place, everyone ate with their jackets on. The pasta was soft and we waited a long time

Wife and I ate lunch at Osteria de Dadà. My wife and the soup which was so tasty! I had pasta ragu which was also tasty. The bread with olive oil was really nice.

Walking around Spello at past 1pm we are attracted by the menu blackboard outside (read it carefully it will be your only menu 🤣), a cheerful lady welcomes us and makes us sit down.
The restaurant is a single room with a maximum of 22 seats, from the door at the end of the small room you can hear frying and singing.
Set in a simple way with a Christmas themed paper placemat, he asks us to drink first.
Water only half a liter in the bottle and wine either by the bottle or by the glass which is a nice full glass.
They order a mixed house appetizer with excellent cured meats and cheeses accompanied by croutons, hot text cake, mandarin jam and sautéed black cabbage.
Then 2 first courses, a strangozzo with cheese and pepper (lots of pepper🤣) but good and a white tagliatelle with Chianina ragù. For gluttony rather than hunger we try the lamb morsels with potatoes. Excellent.
Everything rigorously cooked on the spot so arm yourself with patience. Good cuisine, very homemade....... worth trying at least once. It also had an excellent grandma's cake, at least if you look at it.
All for 44 euros....for 2.
They have their own menu calculation, i.e. starter and first course are 15 euros.
A first and second 22.
I repeat....must try.

I found myself in Spello for work and was lucky enough to find this small tavern on the main street of the village.
The opportunity to sit at the table was repeated for two consecutive evenings.
They have a very advantageous menu plan for the price, but there is a lot behind it in terms of quantity and gastronomic choice.
The value for money is perfect.
The service is very welcoming and genuine, the ladies were masters of hospitality, there was no shortage of gifts from the house which personally always fill me with joy.
Personal taste:
- Fabulous, the cod tortelli with chickpeas
- Artichokes with lamb stew, excellent
- Duck with orange jam, which I dream about and will dream about for many more nights
Unsolicited note:
1. The place is small, but it allows those lucky enough to sit down to be served in the best possible way
2. The cuisine is "Giorgione-style" so to speak
3. !!IMPORTANT!! - whether it is one or more dishes, the plate MUST be clean. The kitchen sees and appreciates. A litmus test for the work of the cook.

Localino carico all'inizio della piazza principale di Spello.
Sala interna piccola e possibilità di tavoli all'esterno in un vicoletto: molto suggestivo.
Due sole persone (una in cucina e l'altra ai tavoli) si occupano di mandare avanti questa attività e spesso si ha la possibilità di sentirle discutere tra loro.
Il servizio, abbiamo mangiato a pranzo, è oggettivamente troppo lento. Ci siamo seduti nella sala interna quando tutti i tavoli erano occupati ed abbiamo aspettato 40 min per avere gli antipasti (un piatto con 4 pezzi di formaggio). Abbiamo giustificato questo tempo di attesa pensando al fatto che il locale era pieno. Tra la fine dell'antipasto e la portata successiva (un primo per me ed un secondo per mia moglie) è trascorsa almeno un'ora ed il locale ormai si era svuotato (oltre al nostro tavolo solo altri due erano erano occupati ed uno di questi era stato occupato da poco).
Per quanto riguarda il cibo, buoni i formaggi. Il primo piatto, una pasta alla norcina, era molto salata ed il condimento risultava un pò "slegato". Il secondo piatto, arrosticini di agnello con patate, erano buoni ma se fossero stati cotti leggermente meno sarebbero stati migliori.
Il vero deficit è la lentezza del servizio: trascorrere circa 2 ore per un antipasto condiviso ed un piatto unico a testa è davvero troppo.

una bella esperienza piccolo locale ,gestito penzo da due persone molto simpatiche,bella l'accoglienza con fette di bruschta inmerse in olio e una salsa buonissima ,habiamo preso tagliere misto buonissimo e abbomdante con vari formaggi e salumi ,buone le frittelle con verdura,ottime le pappardelle al cinghiale,prezzi onestissimi da ritornare
