Osteria al Corridoio In Muggia

I was alone on a trip to Muggia and wanted to eat something. I ate a very good Jacob's mussel in the Osteria and a very, very good spaghetti with Vongole mussels. Inexpensive and very good.

I really don't understand the comments that say 'large portions' being a tavern and reading the comments of some I expected something more than a pasta (of passable taste) with more shells than clams

Excellent food, tasty fish dishes, kind and attentive staff, even if the place is very small I recommend a visit.

We had lunch at this place and were pleasantly surprised. The dishes were tasty and plentiful, the staff were kind and friendly, and they welcomed us with a smile even without a reservation. However, there are some aspects that could be improved: Written menu: The absence of a written menu makes it difficult to choose dishes and does not allow you to predict the cost. Waiting times: The wait between courses was a bit long, which makes it unsuitable for a quick lunch. The quality of the food, however, made up for the wait. Accessibility: Unfortunately the bathroom is not accessible to people with disabilities. To give you an idea of ​​the quality-price ratio, four of us ordered: a liter of wine, three half-litre bottles of water, two portions of mussels, a plate of pasta with clams, two plates of mackerel, a fried of calamari and two coffees. With sweets and bitters offered by the house, we spent less than €30 each and left satisfied.

Small restaurant in the center of Muggia with a very good value for money. It's one of those places where they tell you the menu out loud and at the end they present you with a limoncello syrup and a grappa. We made two dishes (fried calamari and pasta with clams) that were delicious! And with a glass of wine and water it cost us 37 euros. If you go to Muggia, it's your place :p
