Classy restaurant all good thank you

L’Osteria moderna si trova non poco lontano dal centro di Alba, davanti allo sferisterio Mermet, il “Maracanà delle Langhe”. L’osteria è moderna nel nome ma contemporanea nell’arredamento e nell’idea di cucina che propone: piatti della tradizione piemontese accanto a sperimentazioni e incursioni nella cucina asiatica. L’esperimento è riuscito: ho assaggiato uno “schrimp&chips” con un gambero freschissimo e dei guizza con capesante e gamberi davvero niente male. Servizio attento e cordiale, avrei soltanto un suggerimento: accostare nel menú una minima descrizione del dolce o almeno dei suoi componenti, i nomi dei dolci sono sì intriganti ma risultano davvero poco chiari

If I could, I would give 10 stars...Location, attention to detail, wine list, refined menu, delicious entries (not asked for), a unique explosion of flavours. An indescribable culinary journey.

Small but nice place with a slightly different cuisine than usual

Saturday lunch during the truffle fair, menu with only truffle-based dishes. Possibility of having a fixed price or à la carte menu. Everything was excellent, the portions were right, the chef's welcome was memorable. Cozy place, spent the right amount in relation to the menu and the impeccable service.

Intimate and welcoming place, very good food, good and well presented dishes

The service was excellent - the staff were attentive and friendly and we felt very well looked after. Unfortunately, the location itself was quite cold, which made the stay a little less comfortable. We chose the truffle menu as it sounded very appealing. The starter was excellent and immediately impressed us from a culinary point of view. The main course was okay, but not quite on the same level as the starter. In total our bill, including a bottle of wine, was €250. Overall, given the high-quality ingredients and attentive service, the price-performance ratio was reasonable.

Fuimos aquí para el almuerzo - 3 amigos visitando Alba. ¡No nos arrepentimos! Es un pequeño restaurante - pero ¡qué calidad! Comida muy excelente y con estilo! Estábamos disfrutando de cada bocado y el servicio fue atento y muy amable y profesional. Seguro que volveremos!
