We were holidaying in Viareggio and this was an incredible highlight of our holiday. Superb food served with warmth, kindness and care from a lovely and lively team. Beautiful attention to detail and focus on delivering exceptional food and an experience second to none. We're still talking about the pudding which consisted of grapefruit gel, pink peppercorn ice cream, rose cream and a corn biscuit. Just awesome. Cannot recommend it highly enough. Incidentally, easy parking and easy to find!

It's impossible not to give your all in a restaurant that pampers you from start to finish. Extremely refined restaurant, furnished with warmth and attention to detail. Impeccable service. The staff were very kind and super prepared, courteous in their ways and available for every request. Food of the highest quality, a divine gastronomic experience. We left with a smile!

FANTASTIC EXPERIENCE
What can I say, everything was perfect. The food, the service, the location. The chef comes to the table and asks customers about their tastes and preferences to create a menu that fully satisfies their dining experience. A special thanks to the guys in the room who pampered us.

I returned to this magical place. As usual, an experience to remember. There were four of us and we opted for the eight-course fish menu. Each dish was an emotion. The excellent service, the location is top notch. The staff in the dining room and the chef who shows up at the table to tell you about the menu make you feel at the center of the world. The sommelier Nicola, very knowledgeable, always advises you in the best way. In short, well done, well done, well done.

Previously La Martinatica dinner was one of the highlights of our holiday but sadly this year not so. We selected the tasting menu and half our party opted for vegetarian antipasti rather than raw fish. The service was very slow and although the waiter tried his best he couldn’t explain what the chef’s menu of the day would be. The vegetarian options were not good nor to anybody’s taste alas. The raw fish was good but too many diverse favours fighting against each other.
The pasta course was delicious but was served 2 hours after we had arrived and was cold…. We mentioned this and the waiter apologised but no concession was made either on the final bill nor with either a glass of something nor petit fours to mitigate.
We had to call twice to delay our taxi pick up and left feeling for the first time at this beautiful venue very disappointed in both the service and quality of food …..

Ho pranzato con mia moglie in questo ristorante un sabato di aprile. L’obiettivo era di festeggiare una ricorrenza importante e certo non potevamo chiedere di meglio. Siamo stati accolti dallo chef che inizialmente ci ha dato consigli sulla scelta dei piatti e poi, durante il pranzo, si è spesso presentato a verificare il nostro gradimento. Abbiamo optato per una degustazione di cinque portate di pesce che abbiamo apprezzato moltissimo e abbiamo chiuso con dei dolci deliziosi. Particolarmente gradita è stata l’offerta dell’aperitivo iniziale e molto curato è stato anche il servizio, affidato ad un team giovane e competente. Considerando anche la consumazione di due calici di vino, il prezzo di circa 100 euro a testa è da considerare più che adeguato per una esperienza gastronomica da ricordare.
