This IS the place if you have been searching for something more upmarket, with dishes that surprise you in spite of their description. It’s a high quality establishment with excellent food. There are a huge number of good restaurants in Sicilia, but this is up a few notches. Enjoy…

Easily the best meal I’ve ever had in my life. My wife and I had the tasting menu with the accompanying wine pairings. Every course was incredible. The ingredients were extremely high quality and fresh, and the preparations were exquisite. The atmosphere was delightful, and Chef Maurizio was a fabulous host, making the evening truly memorable. I cannot recommend Macallè highly enough!

We spent a wonderful evening at this fantastic restaurant. Each course of the menu was a beautifully balanced composition and a unique experience. The ambiance speaks for itself, and every detail tells its own story. Mauricio is the creative force behind the restaurant, and the service is impeccable. Our personal interaction with Mauricio was truly inspiring; thank you for that as well.

Everything was very decent. A very pleasant atmosphere. Everything was quite sophisticated and delicious... We recommend it👍. We had a salad, risotto (I would call it more like paella), and sea bass... and taramisu for dessert. Everything was excellent.

16/01/2026: A nice pub, tasty food, aesthetically presented, portions not too big for the hungry, but maybe too small for us, they were OK, a nice chat with the owner, there was time for that because in January there is not much going on here and few customers, nice atmosphere and peace
