I hated giving the atmosphere two stars, but it's not nice to see people crammed into the restaurant's tables and staff slaloming around with trays to avoid a disaster. An even worse point are the dirty bathrooms, with no soap at the sink or toilet paper (maybe I bought the wrong one).
The prices are quite high, justified by the spectacular location and the many foreign tourists who are incompetent in the kitchen and eager to leave generous tips. On a positive note, however, are the table service staff and the outdoor setting, which is truly spectacular. I also appreciated the heaters and blankets at the tables.
For me, being local, it's definitely a place to stop for a coffee.

We had drinks outside. The decor was lovely, and the service was friendly and quick. The Aperol came with chips and olives. There was a nice view. But €12 is quite a steep price.

On December 6, 2025, my friends and I came to Cernobbio to see the Christmas markets, but alas, we chose the wrong day. After browsing the shops, we went looking for a place for an aperitivo. The wave changed our day: a lakeside venue, a stunning and meticulously maintained venue, and delicious food and cocktails. Served by the very kind and professional Anna, we truly enjoyed ourselves.

We had a lunch on the way and found it excellent. We took advice from the lady (Anna, if I remember correctly). She was excellent, capable, and attentive, present but not intrusive.
The Tina porcini salad was spectacular, and the tagliatelle were excellent. To top it all off, a splendid view and exquisite staff.

My group was taken care of so well here that I had to write a review. Despite all of the nice things to see in Cernobbio, this Onda was one of the best memories. Very hospitable staff and awesome atmosphere.

We went to this restaurant yesterday for the first time. The tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms was excellent.
The blonde lady who served us was professional, attentive, and meticulous. She made us feel at home.
