Excellent service and food, wonderful location! The owner is a delightful person, kind and professional. At the end of the meal, given it was my birthday, he gave us a complimentary bottle of his own prosecco, a truly appreciated gesture! I absolutely recommend it.

A welcoming, family-run restaurant just steps from the Castle, offering excellent homemade food. The owner is incredibly kind, friendly, and welcoming, serving and describing his dishes with passion and energy. Each dish has a story and a reason for being there, and we were treated to a meticulous service throughout the meal, as were the other diners at the tables. Delicious food in a delightful atmosphere. We will definitely be back, and we sincerely thank the owner for the welcome and unexpected gift of a lovely bottle of Montepulciano d'Abruzzo, which we will drink to his health! Visited yesterday for lunch with friends, all experts in wine, terroir, and food. First-class hospitality and a meticulously curated menu, crafting ideas using top-quality local ingredients (grains, herbs, flowers, and select meats) crafted with inspiration and substance. Whether it's grain risotto with herbs and dandelion petals, or pork stew, or lamb with local herbs, you're spoiled for choice. Sandro Baliva manages everything with care, passion, and a surprising knowledge of the rural culture of the past, which he respectfully reinterprets in his dishes. A bonus is the location, just steps from Piccolomini Castle, and the view of the Fucino valley.

A charming atmosphere, refined dishes, friendliness and professionalism! What can I say? It's a MUST TRY! We tried a few appetizers, two first courses, a second course, and a dessert, all very refined and close to tradition. Nothing more needs to be said!

In an enchanting setting overlooking the Fucino plain, this inn proved to be a true gem in the village of Celano. The owner and the entire staff welcomed us with kindness and affection, yet without being intrusive. Our lunch order for two consisted of a platter of meats, two first courses, and a steak. Everything was excellent and plentiful, with top-quality ingredients perfectly showcased by the kitchen's preparation. The wine, produced on site, was truly breathtaking, pairing perfectly with the dishes. To finish, the coffee, dessert, and liqueurs were excellent, as was everything else. The bill was even less than expected. We will definitely be back.

Beautiful is an understatement... the owner is a living poem. Few dishes but well-structured with a corresponding explanation of the local area. Again, a place to stop and eat.

Io e mio marito abbiamo pranzato qui di passaggio ed è stata un ottima scelta!prima cosa il posto è bellissimo sia fuori per il panorama ,sia dentro ..abbiamo assaggiato gli gnocchi al ragù di cervo e i ravioli al gorgonzola,noci e crema di zafferano...una delizia!mi hanno ricordato quelli che faceva mia nonna quando ero piccola,ed infatti il proprietario ci ha spiegato che sono stati fatti dalla mamma di 90 anni...veramente complimenti!di posti così ne sono rimasti pochi Purtroppo non abbiamo fotografato ma abbiamo preferito goderci il momento😋
