Sandro is an excellent host, the atmosphere is truly charming and the dishes are excellent.

I'm in Celano for health reasons. Before being hospitalized, I was curious to try some typical local products, so I searched online for a restaurant. The Locanda della Madonna delle Vigne immediately appeared. Looking at some photos, I was intrigued by the place, so I decided to book. Access to the inn is via a staircase in an alley with a breathtaking view. We were greeted by Mr. Sandro, a very helpful, empathetic, and welcoming person. Sitting at the table, we looked at the à la carte menu, choosing for one an appetizer of mutton skewers with white onion and chickpeas, to say the least 😋 delicious. Then we ordered cured meats and cheeses. I was amazed. 🤩 2 first courses: gnocchi with venison ragù, which were good, but the pappardelle with sausage, saffron, and truffle were a delight for the palate. 😍 Excellent service Beautiful serving dishes, the cheeses served with fantastic fruit pairings. He delighted us with two cheeses that unfortunately I don't remember the name of, but I will always remember the taste 😍🤩😋😋😋. All this including coffee and water, €65. Blessed are you for all the delights we received... Thank you, thank you, I will definitely be back.

At Locanda Madonna delle Vigne, we found a unique atmosphere, made even more special by the fabulous view of the surrounding hills. ​The food was simply sublime, a triumph of flavors that masterfully showcased the local area. ​The service was attentive and professional, making us feel pampered from start to finish. ​A place I highly recommend to anyone seeking a high-quality experience in a dream setting.

A truly unique business, steeped in craftsmanship and passion, run by a family. The menu offers a highly original selection of high-quality first and second courses and an excellent wine list. The owner, in particular, is a true expert and connoisseur! The cured meats and homemade pasta are amazing. Easy to get to, with plenty of parking near the stunning Piccolomini Castle! I highly recommend it to anyone who lives in the area or is just passing through!

A beautiful, historic location in the historic center of Celano. Typical Abruzzo cuisine with excellent flavors. Excellent wines. Sandro, the owner, is admirably dedicated to his customers, explaining and recommending every dish in detail. A family atmosphere. Congratulations.

An authentic, meticulously maintained, and welcoming restaurant housed in a huge 18th-century stable...where the quality is truly superb!! Sandro, the owner, truly puts his heart and soul into it; nothing is left to chance, and kudos to his mother for making homemade pasta like it used to be!

Very welcoming atmosphere, the owner is very kind to guests, as is the entire staff. Excellent food and generous portions. I read that the ravioli actually serve three, but they're huge, so I challenge you to eat more.

I had dinner last night with friends and family. The welcome was very friendly, and the food was also good. However, when we finally got the bill, we had a few surprises with the prices, including extras like an appetizer for five people, which was charged for seven, and a bottle of wine that shouldn't have been included, or rather, offered, but was instead paid for. A very unique place.
