I dined at the inn's restaurant on the evening of my birthday. I'd seen the place by chance, strolling through Tuscania one afternoon, and I have to say it was a truly perfect choice. The place is small and very intimate, with a beautiful view of the church of San Pietro illuminated at night. The food was excellent. It's refined, not ordinary, and very carefully prepared. Everything was beautifully presented and very tasty. You can tell they're making things with love. The young man who served us was wonderful. Super kind, very, very nice, not intrusive, and above all, very young. The owner was friendly and attentive to detail. Overall, a place I recommend if you're passing through Tuscania or if you're a local. I'll definitely be back. They even gave me a little heart with the word "Happy Birthday" written on it, which was unexpected and appreciated. Thank you.

The Mirandolina Inn is an enchanting place immersed in an enchanting landscape, a place with which to get in tune to fully savor its peculiarities: kindness, good taste, poetry, refined flavors offered with love. Mrs. Suzanne is a frank person and an expert and creative cook who knows how to warmly welcome even slightly "oppositional" customers to her inn (guess who I'm referring to, dear Suzanne). Siamo stati in questo locale per una notte compresa la cena e la colazione. La camera era piccola, ma accogliente e non mancava nulla. La cena è stata ottima,sia per la qualità della cucina che per la presentazione dei piatti. Ci ha deluso, invece, la colazione. Pochissima scelta e la signora ci ha chiesto soltanto cosa volevamo da bere. Abbiamo dovuto chiedere il pane e non ci ha offerto del salato che invece aveva portato all'altro tavolo. Peccato!

The atmosphere is modern and welcoming, perfect for those looking for a place to eat without worries but with tasty dishes. The service is attentive and professional. I tried the porcini mushroom risotto and the fresh gluten-free pasta: both dishes were rich in flavor and well-prepared. The main courses, like the grilled chicken, were also tender and tasty. The gluten-free tiramisu was the perfect ending to a satisfying dinner. The prices are reasonable for the quality, considering the attention given to each gluten-free dish. Perfect for those with specific dietary needs who don't want to sacrifice excellent cuisine!
10/11/2025: Awesome cafe that was my main go to for delicious gluten free sandwiches, cakes and other tasty desserts! The staff and owner are incredibly friendly, good people.

23/02/2026: Frankly, the negative reviews for this nostalgic gem of an all-Italian tradition, which is gradually becoming less and less enduring, are incomprehensible. The interior decor and structure are stuck in place for decades, it's true, but the place's charm likely also stems from this. The well-maintained outdoor space, with a (new) structure that allows you to enjoy lunch al fresco even on a sunny day, is well-maintained. The atmosphere is wonderful, with silence broken only by the quacking of ducks and the lake no more than two meters from the table. The cuisine is also traditional, but traditional because it's good, not stale. The lake fish dishes are excellent.
25/12/2025: Maria welcomed us with her partner Simone on the evening of December 22, 2025. Christmas dinner is a quiet time in the area, and we were the only guests. We were pampered by Simone, who explained the entire menu to us and enlivened the evening by chatting with us without ever being intrusive. Above all, we were struck by the delicacy and attention he showed in accommodating and serving the pregnant woman at the table. The food is fantastic: truly sublime crostoni with whitefish, abundant and tasty linguine with whitefish, and delicate and balanced nettle gnocchi. The grilled whitefish was a must-have for the main course. We had such a great time that we returned on the 24th: Simone was busy at his other restaurant, but Maria more than worthyly filled in for him, remembering to treat the pregnant customer in a special way without us having to remind her. A historic restaurant run by genuine people, as well as skilled restaurateurs, with life stories worth listening to and treasured. A heartfelt thank you to Maria and Simone from our family.
