Truly an excellent experience! The atmosphere was very welcoming, with a quiet and relaxing atmosphere: it wasn't too noisy and the ambiance was truly comfortable, which is not a given. There's also a very pleasant outdoor area, perfect for a quiet al fresco meal. The food is excellent, with traditional dishes prepared with great care and using the freshest ingredients. An added bonus is definitely the owner, who is very kind, helpful, and attentive to his customers, making you feel at home.

I've been coming to this place for over ten years during the truffle festival. What can I say? The owners are kind and friendly, as is the rest of the staff. Excellent food and very competitive prices. Try it, you won't regret it.

Very welcoming place. We went without a reservation and the owner found us a table right away. Water and bread arrived promptly, and despite being packed, the dishes arrived promptly! The staff were very kind, fast, and friendly. I absolutely recommend it.

Located in the heart of the historic center, but easily accessible even by parking outside the city walls. The restaurant is intimate and exudes a soft, relaxing atmosphere. A professional and distinguished welcome, and many thoughtful touches from the wait staff ensure excellent service. The cuisine is fast but respectful of customers' time. The menu is delicious and original. The cured meats for the appetizer are delicious and refined. The strangozzi are excellent, the pasta is good and well-combined with the Norcina sauce. Prices are slightly higher than average, but in line with the quality and quantity of the dishes. An experience worth repeating.

Tradition done to perfection. The family-run business adds the cherry on top; some of the waiters, even the very young ones, were incredibly knowledgeable and polite. The dishes speak for themselves; they're beautifully cooked and made with quality ingredients. The prices are fair. Excellent selection of cured meats, and the Norcina pappardelle were amazing. We were also surprised by the wide selection of desserts; we tried the chocolate cake, and it was among the best we've ever tasted. We'll be back.

We had lunch here while visiting Norcia. It's a very busy place, so I recommend making a reservation. We were lucky enough to have a table for two available. We had gnocchi with cheese sauce and strangozzi with mountain sauce. Both were very good; the pasta was homemade and you could taste it, and the gnocchi were soft and uneven. The staff was perhaps a bit untrained; I asked what cheeses were in the sauce, and they simply said they were all melted together. All in all, everything was good, and the mountain sauce was quite spicy. The atmosphere was a bit noisy, but overall pleasant.

17/12/2025: We went for lunch at the recommendation of friends who live in Spoleto. The place was crowded because it was a holiday, but Rita was attentive to all her guests' needs. The platter of cold cuts, cheeses, and bruschetta was truly delicious; the first and second courses were equally delicious! We'll definitely be back on our next trip to Umbria. Enjoy!

03/01/2026: How was the food? So bad that we went back two days in a row (the second day specifically). We were served excellently, with professionalism, courtesy, and that touch of friendliness that never hurts, in a lovely place, with a gorgeous dining room... so much so that my 4-year-old son Leo wanted to come back. The quality of the food... I hope calling it excellent isn't an understatement... the platter, mentioned by someone who can't remember the name, considered insufficient, was of excellent quality with genuine, traditional products at a fair price... not to mention the rest: pasta alla Norcina, eggplant parmigiana, gnocchi with wild boar, grandma's egg, and the tagliatelle with both ragù and mushrooms, which my son devoured. Not to mention the desserts... so if you have the courage not to call this a super excellent restaurant... I would recommend... McD.
02/01/2026: The typical dishes are all delicious, with just the right portions (not too much, not too little), and the atmosphere is rustic, romantic, and even intimate/cozy, and I'd say comfortable. Quick and friendly service, family-run, with not a single detail out of place, and attention to customer service, empathy, and a willingness to engage in conversation. The price is more than fair—in fact, I'd say convenient. I'm attaching the receipt so it's clear that this isn't just my perception, but the reality of the facts. The platter I've pictured was full of typical, strictly local products, carefully arranged, beautiful to look at and delicious to eat. We'll definitely be back, and I recommend booking because there are only a few seats (about 40, I'd say). Note for those with pets: I've noticed that dogs are welcome. Be careful, don't be put off by the negative reviews; they're all from years ago and certainly refer to previous management, given that the current one has been open for less than two years.
