Excellent restaurant, elegant, with welcoming rooms, good service, perhaps a little too minimal dishes but overall the food is good. I can't say the quality/price ratio because I was invited but I think it's a little above average. I recommend it for a special evening or if you want to invite people of a certain prestige.

Pulizia eccellente, pietanze eccellenti e abbondanti, grande cortesia e disponibilità, selezione vini accurata, ambiente molto accogliente. Se passate da Pavia entrate e non vi pentirete. Consigliatissimo!

I have been to Locanda del Carmine for dinner several times and each time it has been a confirmation of the quality and goodness of the dishes, even the vegan ones. In particular, I would recommend the desserts, which always manage to amaze me!

Sono stato in questo locale con mio padre per passare una serata tranquilla e siamo stati accontentati divinamente. Tavolo singolo molto ampio, quasi in una stanzina riservata, contornata da vini e cose particolari. La padrona molto simpatica e alla mano con i clienti, il menù con piatti delicati e per nulla scontati, tutto curato nei minimi dettagli. Ogni piatto era un esplosione di sapori. Ci ritorneremo. Merita davvero tanto.

26/07/2025: The new management is a huge hit! The seafood is exceptionally high quality and the service is attentive yet friendly. The oysters and spaghetti with sea urchin deserve special mention. After all, the freshest seafood is served at Cecima!
24/07/2025: An evening of excellent peppered mussels and all-you-can-eat...excellent wine and desserts The attention and service were very much appreciated.

10/07/2025: Yesterday we had lunch at La Gera. The place was very well-kept and clean. The appetizers, first courses, and desserts were excellent. We didn't try the second courses, but we will next time. Truly attentive and expert cuisine. We had a great time, thanks in part to the friendliness of the owners. The bill was absolutely fair. Highly recommended. We'll be back. Daniele and Claudio
05/07/2025: Small but intimate and well-kept place, impeccable service, it felt like being pampered and I was surprised by the really high level food. The prices are super honest, I will be back!
