We arrived expecting a typical trattoria, but instead, we found ourselves at a charming locanda nestled in the heart of a vineyard. Two majestic olive trees stood just outside the main building, greeting the lucky visitors. The place is absolutely stunning—a beautiful casale in the Veronese countryside, elegant yet full of character. While we didn’t get to see the view since we visited on a winter night, I can only imagine how breathtaking it must be. The food is delicious, though it can be a bit pricey, especially with seasonal specialties and steaks. But every bite was worth it! The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, taking the time to explain every dish to me, a rather picky eater. There were kids around, but the atmosphere inside was still calm and peaceful. Some dishes were prepared right in front of us, which added an interesting touch. The only thing I wished for was a quicker coffee service since we were on a tight schedule, but as with any good Italian meal, it’s best enjoyed slowly. Looking forward to coming back again soon! B

Splendid place surrounded by vineyards, quiet and relaxing, excellent rooms and excellent breakfast, friendly and helpful staff. The restaurant is also good and is located about 500 meters away on the Buglioni estate. Definitely coming back.

We spent a lovely evening here. The service was great from the moment we walked in until we left. Our server was warm and knowledgeable about their wines. The food and the wines were excellent! We tried Amanore from different years and decided to go with a vintage from 2004. Definitely recommend this place if you’re in the area or in Verona (it’s around 20-25 mins drive) from the center.

Ambiente intimo ed elegante e al contempo rustico e genuino immerso nelle vigne. La Locanda Buglioni, che ci ha accolti in un casolare della campagna veronese, in piena Valpolicella, in un contesto rustic-chic con una proposta culinaria interessante e una lista dei loro vini a prezzi interessanti. Il personale disponibile, accorto e sempre presente per ogni necessità o anche curiosità. Piatti della tradizione e non, rivisti in chiave moderna e, tanta tanta carne rossa, per gli amanti delle vere bistecche. Prezzo non economico ma giusto, per il contesto e il servizio offerto. L’autunno è la stagione di Verona, torneremo per un’altra serata a due, o forse questa volta anche la figlia verrà con noi!
