A beautiful experience. We had dinner on Monday 08/05/24 and were very happy. Very beautiful, particular location, surrounded by greenery... a combination of elegance and simplicity, which makes the experience even more unforgettable. As for the service, pleasant, very attentive, professional and non-intrusive. The "short but intense" menu, a selection of dishes that is not too vast, but which meets the tastes of all diners from starters to desserts, accompanied by a wine cellar where you can perceive the research and tradition that want to remain as points of strength of the restaurant. As for the bill, we found it fair for the dishes we ordered and the service offered. Congratulations indeed, we will definitely be back.

Such service, such an atmosphere, such quality of food and all at a sensational price/performance ratio. Every “Italian” in Germany can take an example from this. A love of life and a good mood are at home here

Wonderful environment both inside and out... The lady who served us was super kind and helpful, really very very good... Really good and fresh food and price in line with what we ate.

Our experience was not fantastic. We had a table where we could sit for an hour. We accepted that, but we should never have done that. The bill was 100.00, which didn't even include dessert. Lost a lot of money in one hour with 2 people... never doing such a quick dinner again

Avsides restaurang om man inte besöker vingården. Jättefina omgivningar och mysiga bord. Ankan smakade riktigt bra, pastan med ansjovis inte alls bra när man inte gillar fisk. Carpaccion lite grovskuren för min smak och en del senor. Maten landar på en trea i betyg skulle jag säga medan omgivningarna en femma. Helheten får ändå en fyra!

Ristorante Il Desco

15/08/2024: Pro's: Good location, Ambiance inside restaurant, clean, orderly, professionally-trained staff who are quite attentive and accommodating Challenges: Food is average. I have dined at many Michelin 1 and 2 star restaurants throughout Europe. Il Desco food was very good quality, well presented and well prepared but it lacked appeal to the taste palate and thus memorability. We choose 4 courses but the 3 wine pairing option (there was no 4 wine pairing option). So, one of our wine selections by the sommelier was off: the second and third course needed a different choice for what we ordered. You would think that for nearly 140 Euros for 3 glasses of wine over the same 4 courses that the sommelier would be able to process that challenge. Would I dine here again? Probably not. Would I recommend it to others? Probably not. I would recommend other dining options in Verona.
05/08/2024: Amazing experience. I've had the best salmon of my life. True family-run restaurant with sophisticated but yet not pretentious food. Pre-opera menu serves its purpose perfectly.
