Nice place, typical and characteristic, as a mountain place should be. Very good food, welcoming situation and friendly and genuine staff. Good prices. So, I would say absolutely recommended!

Located in a rustic and welcoming environment in a point of great naturalistic and hiking interest. Efficient service. The menu offers many characteristic dishes and the choice is wide. I found the foods delicious. Unfortunately when I went to pay between the bill that was given to me and the one I paid there was an increase that I can't explain, I hope it was a typo! Unfortunately I noticed it at home and couldn't ask.

A cabin-style place, very welcoming, managed and run by very friendly people. The dishes are prepared according to tradition. Easy to reach and I believe an obligatory stop for anyone who has to reach Scanno, passing through Villetta Barrea.

Posto molto bello e in tema con il panorama circostante. Tutto curato nei dettagli e ricercato per dare all'ambiente il tipico humor di rifugio di montagna. Rivestimenti in legno, camini e una bellissima cantina in stile antico. oggetti vari che richiamano lo stile di vita della montagna. Piatti tipici, abbondanti e squisiti, con dolce offerto dalla casa, oltre al personale disponibile e gentile. Il pranzo è durato tantissimo ma era una giornata di festa e il locale era strapieno di turisti. Prezzo nella norma.

Beautiful refuge at the foot of Monte Godi. Kind and friendly waiters. The cooking of the meat was perfect and the cream cheese and mushrooms were amazing! Absolutely to return

Excellent food and friendly staff...BUT...there is a very big BUT, which makes you understand how "small" some people really are...and I'll get to the point. They apply the amount on the credit card transaction to the customer!!! Obviously without saying it!!!

Location molto carina immersa nel verde... Cucina tipica con piatti tutti fatto in casa.. Buoni i primi ma anche la carne alla griglia.. Superconsigliato...

22/01/2025: Every time I'm in the area or passing through I MUST stop at this establishment. It's true that the hotel isn't the most modern, but in 6 years I've never found anything out of place. Always spotless, with excellent services and the restaurant is the icing on the cake. A simple and simply delicious cuisine. The restaurant service deserves 6 stars, unfortunately the maximum is 5... Keep it up!! :)
08/01/2025: We didn’t stay at the hotel but just stopped for lunch on our way to Rome. A friend recommended this restaurant and it was a welcomed recommendation. The food is excellent as well as the service. This was our first time to try this place but it won’t be our last. Can highly recommend this restaurant. Everything was tasty.
