L'Approdo In Calasetta

Excellent address, the welcome is very warm, the service excellent and the dishes very tasty. I highly recommend it.

Located near the Calasetta marina, it offers traditional seafood dishes, including some tobacco-inspired specialties such as fregua with seafood and bluefin tuna, and other bluefin tuna-based dishes. Prices are moderately high, typical of a tourist destination, and the food is adequate but not abundant. It also serves a pizzeria.

Very long wait times, smaller-than-average portions. Good, nothing special.

I've known this place since last year. Eating inside is nice, air-conditioned. I think it's very hot outside, with plastic tables and chairs. The seafood-flavored linguine was very good but a little on the low side. The breaded and fried sea anemone cone was very good but still on the low side. The fried calamari was good and well-fried. A glass of good local red wine. I wasn't particularly impressed with the desserts. The only downside is the restrooms: the toilet isn't the best color and the flush doesn't work. These are significant issues.

A restaurant near the port, the dining room opens onto a beautiful view of the pier. The dishes are prepared with top-quality ingredients and are aesthetically pleasing and very tasteful. We particularly enjoyed the tuna appetizers, capunnada, a typical local dish, and steamed tuna with zucchini and fresh tomatoes—delicious. The first course was fregola di mare (seafood pasta) and seafood-flavored linguine with sea urchin, bottarga, and clams—very satisfying! Finally, seadas (seafood pasta) with plenty of honey rounded off an excellent lunch. Special thanks to the waiters, who were kind and cheerful throughout their service; they made our son and dog happy with their little touches!

The welcome and hospitality are top notch, the food delicious, the seafood-flavored linguine amazing, the fried calamari and the blue shark top, all accompanied by excellent wine, not to mention the ravioli and sebadas... beyond all expectations... The price is more than fair... Highly recommended ;)

A surprising culinary experience, combining simplicity and authentic flavor. We were greeted with a sincere and warm smile by Gioia, the head waiter—a perfectly fitting name for someone who truly exudes joy in her work. Her courtesy, attentiveness, and ability to recommend extraordinary dishes made the evening special from the very first moment. We began with delicious seafood meatballs, fragrant and flavorful, followed by two memorable first courses: linguine with bottarga, sea urchin, and clams, a dish rich in intense flavors and perfectly balanced, and paccheri with creamed zucchini and clams, delicate yet full of character. The location is simple, with a white gazebo and plastic chairs, but don't be fooled by appearances: once the dishes were served, it truly felt like a five-fork restaurant. The atmosphere is made even more pleasant by soft music that discreetly accompanies the meal, allowing for relaxed conversations among diners. The bill was absolutely in line with the quality of the ingredients, which were incredibly fresh and expertly presented. A welcoming, honest atmosphere, where you eat truly well and feel at home. We'll definitely be back!

Very good food. Pasta and frsh fish are very delicious.
