04/10/2025: Osteria degli Antenati was a small but well-kept and well-decorated restaurant from the very first moment. The welcome was excellent: the waitress was kind and quick to seat us.
The menu, presented on a blackboard, required some clarification for some dishes, but the staff was immediately helpful and knowledgeable in helping us choose. The wait was pleasant and short, with the offer of an original candy-shaped cheese wafer and delicious fresh bread.
The first courses arrived in about 15 minutes and were truly delicious and well-received. The house wine also stood out for its good flavor.
Unfortunately, the second courses didn't live up to the first courses. The frico was too cheesy and had overcooked potatoes. The cutlet, unfortunately dry, turned out to be a classic cordon bleu and not the alternative I had expected. I definitely wouldn't choose them again.
The meal concluded with a good coffee and grappa.
Additional points: I appreciated the smoking area, which, although small, serves its purpose well. A special mention goes to the bathroom: clean and equipped with many useful accessories for any eventuality. The mirror and door locking system are also nice, although the only flaw was the lack of a clear "occupied" sign or indication.
Regarding logistics, there is some parking in front of the restaurant, although limited. It's unclear whether there is a parking area reserved for customers, as I didn't see one.
In summary: Osteria degli Antenati is a pleasant place with attentive service and excellent first courses, but the second courses are a bit disappointing.
23/09/2025: I found this place by chance, and I have to say everything was delicious. I have to compliment the young man and woman who served me, who were truly professional. The dishes were truly thoughtful and of good quality, and the atmosphere was very nice and refined. I recommend trying it, and if I'm in the area, I'll definitely be back.
