We loved our dinner at this restaurant. The staff were lovely and attentive, the ambience was warm and inviting, and the food and wine were all outstanding. Do not miss the gnudi and the ragu! Their steaks were fabulous as well.

Fantastic dinner in a refined environment, excellent raw materials cooked divinely. Both the food prepared in the kitchen and the grilled meat confirmed the very high expectations we had. I highly recommend everyone to try.

We were recommended this restaurant by friends and I must say that it is a beautiful and delicious surprise! Professional service with a smile, typical dishes and steak that is worth the price you pay (a little above average). All in a refined, clean and minimalist environment. For an evening to remember it is the perfect place and the wine that the maitre recommended us was also very good

The restaurant was a great experience! We decided to stop there on our first night after a long drive and it exceeded our expectations. The selection of food was authentic, tasteful and embracing the delicatessen of the region of Chianti. Thank you team!

31/12/2023: Girando per Siena siamo stati incuriositi da tenta gente che faceva la fila fuori questa pizzicheria ed abbiamo deciso anche noi di provarla. Ottima decisione Personale gentilissimo e molto simpatico Prodotti davvero ottimi sia salumi che formaggi non potete non andarci Info importante se decidete di andarci per pranzo non fate molto tardi il pane ( buonissimo) finisce subito
08/10/2023: Ordered a simple cheese sandwich. Happy with what I got. Seems like a good place to get a sandwich. They have a wide selection of meats and cheeses.

Agriturismo Il Castagno

18/08/2024: Stunning location as well as terrible three-star service, completely absent service at the pool, embarrassing breakfast buffet, poor room cleaning and makeover. In my opinion, those who manage it do not know the hotel service, just the location and the rooms are not enough, the adequate service must be provided.
08/08/2024: It was absolutely delightful. Location, food, service. 10/10 would recommend. Will absolutely come back. Many thanks to the Il Castagno staff! Grazie Mille!
