great for an informal lunch, fast and attentive service, the seafood caponata is delicious but the first and second courses are also of quality. good value for money for being in a central area

Nice, central restaurant with very good quality and acceptable prices. A positive thing to mention is that there is a bench in front of the restaurant with a huge QR code that you can scan and read the menu at your leisure, giving you a great overview of the dishes and prices.

It was a pleasant discovery to have lunch at this place. The cuisine is truly excellent, quality raw materials and generous portions. I had a carbonara made to perfection, but those who had fish were also more than satisfied. The place is small and very welcoming, family-run.

17/04/2025: A special last evening in Sicily Our last evening in Sicily started rather unusually. After a visit to Taormina, we didn't want to just spend the evening at the motorhome. A Google search showed that this restaurant was the only one in the area that was open that evening - and the consistently positive reviews piqued our curiosity. We were all the more disappointed when we found ourselves standing in front of a locked gate at 7:30 p.m., even though according to Google it should be open from 7 p.m. Luckily we didn't give up and called the phone number provided. A very friendly gentleman got in touch, asked about our wishes - and had apparently already spotted us and our two dogs via a camera at the gate. Shortly afterwards we were shown to reception and warmly welcomed. After a short consultation, the gentleman personally accompanied us to the restaurant. What followed was an evening full of enjoyment: lovingly prepared, unusual and extremely tasty dishes, as they have already been aptly described in many reviews. However, we were particularly touched by the authentic friendliness and motivation of the entire team. Nobody was bothered by our dogs or our camper outfit, which was certainly not suitable for a restaurant. We felt completely welcome and thank you very much for this wonderful last evening on your beautiful island!
