We happened upon this place by chance, wandering around Otranto, attracted by the excellent reviews. We stopped for dinner. Kindness and friendliness, they're right at home. I ate spaghetti with speck, cherry tomatoes, and chopped pistachios. Truly exceptional. Excellent value for money. Being from Bologna, if I ever pass through Otranto again, I'll definitely visit them again.

Very nice restaurant, good welcome and service, typical and reasonably priced. Good selection. Very friendly waiter and owner. I recommend without hesitation.

Cozy location, quiet, away from the chaos, the staff is kind. My husband and I ate fish. The food is excellent, but there is a limited choice.

A little hot inside yesterday july 5th, but it’s an amazing restaurant with a friendly and attentive staff. We ate wonderfully fine. No more words. A very good choices with pasta and local fish. Very, Very recommended. Absolutely. If you come to Otranto you have to come to La Pignata.

We recommend trying the Cozze gratinate; we found it very tasty. Otherwise, the other dishes were good. We had to wait a bit longer for our food, but the restaurant was busy that evening.

29/06/2025: Sublime experience! The food, the atmosphere and the service really made our evening magical and memorable! The dishes were beautifully served, the food was delicious. The design of the whole terrace and garden was magnificent: olive trees, light tiles, white table wear, so cosy.. Definitely the best restaurant in the area.

04/06/2025: They hosted my daughter's wedding. Everything was excellent from the location to the service and last but not least the food. Fish, meat, first courses, wine and desserts. Reception service by Martina and her attentive and professional staff. What can I say? It couldn't have been better. A well-deserved round of applause.
