I think it's one of the best dinners I've got in Italy so far and I've been here few times already. Everything was so good I was feeling like this food is dancing on my tongue with all the flavours. ❤️

We had dinner at La Pignata twice during our vacation in Otranto. Both times it was very, very good, and the friendly service and the very personable hosts are particularly noteworthy! A very special restaurant with a very pleasant atmosphere. Thank you for the exceptional hospitality! G. Heineke

Had a great meal here. The food was superb and the Primitivo was really good - and only 3 euros a glass! Run by a lovely family committed to excellent food and friendly service. Thank you for a really good experience.

Beautiful food, and really friendly helpful staff. They made our 3 year old daughter something not on the menu and only charged us €6 for it too which was very kind. My burrata ravioli was beautiful and my husband raved about his swordfish. Lovely ambience too.

Grilled sea bream with zucchini and aubergine - very good.! Pommes frittes were hot and tasty! An option (Secondi) for no fish/seafood lovers may be nice. Very friendly and efficient service.

Great staff, great ambiance. Small portions of food, though, and it is a place where fish comes in its entirety (head, tail, bones, etc). It’s not my cup of tea, but ok I guess if it’s yours.

16/08/2025: We had the pleasure of dining at this wonderful restaurant, where Walter, with his warmth, kindness, and professionalism, made us feel right at home. 10/10 and highly recommended. A year later, even though the management has changed, we were warmly welcomed and enjoyed quality food.
