Lunch today as a couple. Very good experience, quality food, fast service, very honest prices, excellent wine and the very nice owner with a smile for everyone.
Small but very intimate place to book in advance because it is always full.

We came across this place by chance, very good and tasty pici (homemade!) with garlic, like the beef fillet with lard.

Ate very well, fantastic pici all'aglione, very soft sliced meat and super porcini mushroom pie!! The owner ME RA VI GLIO SA, smiling, kind, welcoming, in short, a treasure!
Highly recommended!
Price too low compared to the quality and friendly service, which is a rarity nowadays.

We ate from appetizer to dessert. It wasn't a dinner but a real culinary experience. And then finding passion, kindness and maximum attention to the customer is a real rarity. To return every time you go to Tuscany.

Excellent restaurant, very tasty food at good prices compared to other restaurants in the area.
Most of the time the restaurant is full so to somehow book in advance, it's really worth it.
After a week in Italy I can say for sure that this is one of the best meals I have had so far.

Nel grazioso borgo di Montepulciano, un piccolo locale accogliente e molto tradizionale: ottimi i piatti della cucina toscana, tra cui la selezione di formaggi, i pici e ovviamente la buona carne. Il valore aggiunto è sicuramente la gentilezza e simpatia del personale: ci siamo sentiti come a casa e abbiamo anche “rubato” la ricetta delle specialissime zucchine joulien con tartufo e pecorino. Prezzi decisamente onesti e ottima qualità. Speriamo di poter tornare!

It might not look as glamorous as the places nearby but it’s food and service were outstanding.
Full of flavour and generous portions, it was delightful. Especially the zucchini truffle and pecorino starter…best thing ever eaten in a few days in Tuscany!
Exceptional prices too considering it’s on the tourist stretch. House wine was about €2.50 a glass!
