La Pentolaccia In Montepulciano

All delicious! From the appetizer to the dessert we really liked everything! The environment feels like home and the woman who served us was truly delightful, smiling and helpful. The chef has golden hands, the dishes were really delicious, I would have done an encore of everything! We didn't book, but I recommend doing so, especially in winter because places are limited and you risk missing out on the fantastic cuisine!

The best found in Montepulciano! Amazing food for a good price (pasta from 8€), wide selection of wines (starting from 13€ for a bottle), excellent and attentive service. We enjoyed our dinner a lot. Always think before and reserve a table, the place is popular and always full.

La Pentolaccia was a pleasant surprise during our visit in January 2025, in the middle of winter. We arrived around 2pm and were promptly attended to. The lasagna, cabbage rolls with sausage and tiramisu stood out as the best I tried in the entire Tuscany region. The lasagna, in particular, is unforgettable, with a striking and perfectly balanced flavor. I confess that, after trying several tiramisus, I didn't think I liked the dessert until I tried the version served here. It was exceptional, with an impeccable presentation and unique flavor. Another point worth highlighting was the service: precise, attentive and extremely welcoming, which made the experience even more special. Without a doubt, a place that left an excellent impression and that I recommend to anyone looking for good food and hospitality in Tuscany. A small restaurant, simple but unforgettable! ❤️

You eat as you would in a Tuscan home. Excellent value for money. Perhaps the service could be a little slow, if you are used to modern restaurants. Considering, however, that there are only two people managing the place, I don't feel like condemning a wait, not even a too long one. A little gem in Montepulciano, always full and for this reason I recommend booking!

Very welcoming and family place. TOP excellent cuisine, everything from meat to fish to first courses and desserts. What about Ribollita? Super!! Kind, friendly and competent Christian.

We had a great time, everything was delicious and the hospitality was top notch. Absolutely worth trying. Fillet with Colonnata lard amazed us!

Small family run place. The owner is very friendly and helpful, traditional cuisine with the addition of a very well prepared and well executed fish menu. If you pass through Montepulciano it is impossible not to stop here

Piccola trattoria nella via centrale, con tavoli anche fuori. Menu con tante portate sia di terra che di mare, abbiamo optato per piatti della tradizione. Antipasti un pecorino fuso con lardo, ottimo e un tagliere di salumi ben fornito e con un eccezionale salame toscano. Abbiamo proseguito con una zuppa di legumi molto buona e fagioli bianchi. Il vino al bicchiere della casa, un nobile, passabile, si può pero scegliere dalla lista vini altri più pregiati. Conto giusto.

La Pantolaccia is a charming restaurant in the heart of Montepulciano, and is one of the few (if not the only one) serving fish. The pasta scoglio (frutti di mare) is excellent. The wonderful woman who works the front of the house is so nice and peaceful (while she is working very hard). You must reserve in peak season! Highly recommend!
