A splendid and impeccably maintained location; unfortunately, the cuisine still needs some improvement to fully live up to the setting. The initial wait was a bit long, but overall bearable: the location and the view help you enjoy the moment. Expectations were high, especially since it's a place we'd love to return to. A few small adjustments to the dishes would be advisable: • Octopus alla Luciana: tender and flavorful, but slightly dry and cut with a knife not exactly suited to the task; • Tagliolini with cacio e pepe and mussels: tasty, but these also arrived a bit dry. An interesting note about the bread: we were told "we'll bring you some warm bread soon"... we expected it to be freshly baked, but instead it was lukewarm but cold in the middle—hard to understand why. The portions were still good, and the dishes were tasty overall. The unsolicited discount at the end was appreciated. Overall, a positive experience: we'll be back.

Stunning view and excellent food

This was our second stay at La Madernassa, having first discovered it in the spring. The rooms are in a renovated farmhouse dating back to 1865. There's a small garden where you can sit when the weather is nice, with a view of Alba. Dinner is served 100 meters away in the hotel's own restaurant. The location is stunning, with breathtaking views of the entire Western Alps. The food is fantastic, incredibly creative, and made with high-quality ingredients. The service is top-notch, and the wine list is extensive and excellent. Breakfast is served the following morning. Everything is absolutely delicious and of the highest quality. For me, it offers excellent value for money. Add to that the friendliness of all the staff. We'll definitely be back. See you next time!

We ate very well and drank equally well. Everything from appetizers to dessert is highly recommended. Don't hesitate, go!

A very welcoming place, the rooms are spacious and bright, with a charming view of the vineyards. We had an à la carte breakfast, where the home-made products were excellent. The decor of the entrance and rooms is also beautiful. We didn't use the restaurant or pool (it being November), but we were recommended some excellent restaurants nearby.

Excellent service, friendly and fast staff. Excellent food and a truly beautiful venue! Recommended.
