Welcoming place, relaxed atmosphere, excellent service. I was more than pampered and given excellent advice on the wine selection. The food was delicious. I had scallops in a lentil basket on orange cream and gnocchi with pistachio scallops: unique, sophisticated, and excellent. Definitely recommended. If I ever come back, I'll definitely be back.

A place where you can be pampered by Franco and Barbara's attentive service, choosing the food and excellent wines. The view of the Valpolicella and Lake Garda gives a bucolic feeling of pleasant relaxation.

A top-notch restaurant with a simply spectacular view: in the winter, you can enjoy the view through the large windows, while in the summer, the balcony offers a unique view of the Valpolicella and Lake Garda, especially at sunset. The staff is friendly and welcoming, with an almost family-like touch that makes you feel immediately at ease. Impeccable service, excellent cuisine, and a carefully curated wine list: truly nothing to complain about. Probably one of the best restaurants in the entire Valpolicella, and undoubtedly the best in San Giorgio. Highly recommended

The appetizer and main course were worthy. The first courses were a bit subpar. Excellent table service and very friendly staff. I highly recommend the restaurant for its excellent location.

This place is a real wonder in the heart of Valpolicella! Everything from the magnificent view, beautiful balcony and inside area, elaborate dishes and friendly and thoughtful service was perfect. Speaking about the dishes, I strongly recommend the starter with fish carpaccio - it will really surprise you with little tasty secrets, we also tasted the pasta and here the queen is it place’s unique recipe gnocchi con cappesante. I have tasted many very special dishes in Italy but this one is over the moon. I’m just planning to come back here again and bring my friends. Please don’t miss this great chance to feel in paradise.

Pizzeria San Matteo

14/03/2026: Looking for a place to have dinner, we wanted to try this pizzeria and restaurant, which piqued our interest as it's located inside a former church, hence the name. The apse is still recognizable, but it has been beautifully renovated, taking advantage of the height to create an additional floor. The pizza selection is extensive, including unusual combinations and names inspired by famous places in Verona. The menu is offered in both Italian and English. The service was very quick and efficient; the pizzas arrived ten minutes after we ordered. One was burned on the edge and partly underneath. We pointed this out, and the owner kindly had it remade immediately. The pizzas were excellent in taste and texture; we ordered the whole-wheat version, which was very digestible. When it came time to pay the bill, the owner remembered what had happened and offered us a discount on his own initiative as an apology, a gesture much appreciated (the price had already been normal).
14/03/2026: Delicious food, friendly service. The food was excellent, the environment was clean, and the original building was a church.
