Fantastic place and refined dinner

Still perfect despite inflation 😅 Very interesting cuisine, friendly service 🥰

It's not the first time we've eaten at Ciau and it's been almost a year since we've been there. As food enthusiasts, we tried other important restaurants. Why do we always come back? Because the restaurant is beautiful. Because it is very well kept, clean and tidy. But above all because here there are some of the most exciting (for us obviously) dishes we have ever tried. Fois gras terrine, cured meat cutlet breaded in breadsticks, financier and the cheese trolley are just a few. You get rid of the desire and you're happy. Immense cellar. Plus, if the last 2 times the service had some gaps, last night they were all perfect. For me a plus is the care and experience of Nadia, the proud and attentive hostess.

Sono già stato parecchie volte in questo ristorante. Oltre alla cucina e al servizio di qualità eccelsa la vista è qualcosa di impagabile. Si mangia affacciati ad una vasta quantità di colline vitate spettacolari. Questa volta provo il menu del giorno dal mercato ( 6 portate a sorpresa dalla cucina con materie prime del mercato di giornata) Il menu era molto diverso da un classico menù degustazione. A mio avviso ottimo essendo io uno che mangia piatti forti e decisi come la trippa o le lumache e le animelle. Ho trovato tutto perfetto soprattutto le parigine ma secondo me se si vuole proporre un menù alla cieca così difficile con piatti non per tutti bisognerebbe avvisare prima il cliente. Non tutti mangiano tutto. A mio avviso però tutto perfetto come sempre

We had high hopes for this place but left disappointed. Let’s start with the positive: the view and the wines were spectacular and a couple of the dishes in the 6-course menu were truly great. However, for a place that has a star, the service was lacking: the staff seemed unaware of the dietary restrictions we had informed them of months in advance, there was no one in sight when a person in our party needed a new utensil, the wait times between certain courses were much longer than necessary, and lastly, we were only served five of the six courses we payed for. Why the people who payed for our meal didn’t bring it up is beyond me, but I’d say it’s pretty unacceptable for any restaurant to forget to serve dessert. Also the playlist kept playing the same songs over and over, which I found incredibly grating.

A La Ciau del Tornavento la forma rispecchia perfettamente la sostanza! Servizio impeccabile, cibo squisito, sala stupenda con un’incredibile cantina di vini pregiatissimi 😍 non vedo l’ora di tornarci ☺️
