Our Christmas lunch at La Ciau del Tornavento was nothing short of extraordinary. The menu was absolutely incredible, with every dish exquisitely presented and tasting as delightful as it looked. The restaurant itself is grand and elegant, and the views are breathtaking truly adding to the magical experience. Even though I was dining with an Italian family and my Italian is quite limited, the waitress went above and beyond to make me feel welcome explaining the dishes to me in English while sharing them in Italian with the rest of the table. From the starters to the dessert, every plate was a masterpiece of flavor and beauty. It was a truly memorable experience, and I can't recommend it enough! The first thing that strikes you is the care in selecting the raw materials: each dish is a masterpiece that celebrates the highest quality ingredients, enhanced by the mastery of the chef. The service is impeccable, with professional and attentive staff who make every moment of the meal even more special. The real surprise, however, is the wine cellar: over 1800 labels from all over the world. A true paradise for enthusiasts, with the possibility of discovering rarities and combinations that make the culinary experience even more unforgettable. Having lunch here is not just a meal, it is a journey through flavours, aromas and stories of excellence. A place where the pleasure of food and wine blend perfectly. Will come back a thousand times!

Tornare da Nadia Maurilio e Marco è sempre bellissimo

Truly remarkable one Michelin star restaurant. About 10 minutes from sunrise and with plenty of parking, so easy. The place is very nice especially the view and everything. We did the tasting menu and I have to say that you leave without being hungry as usually happens in starred restaurants but everything is very good and you eat a lot. The visit to the cellar is a truly remarkable experience in itself, there are around 15 million euros of wine including the cable, in short, a truly infinite choice of wine.

Excellent quality restaurant with stunning views of the surrounding hills. High quality products cooked with refinement and attention to detail. Unique cellar of its kind for the quality and quantity of wines.

Perhaps the expectations were too high, given that the restaurant has an excellent reputation and during the period of the truffle fair, to dine on weekends you have to book many months in advance. The main room is not exciting because it is very large, with many tables, even large for groups of 10 people, the furnishings and the large windows do not muffle the noise, on the contrary they create a rumbling effect that makes the place look like a company canteen. Classic cuisine, well executed with some errors, for example our cocotte egg had a completely hard yolk, the veal with tuna sauce was good, too bad about too much sauce and not enough meat. The spectacular wine list, unfortunately does not correspond to the one published on the Internet, even the paper one available on site, contains many labels no longer available (and simply crossed out with a pencil). Efficient staff, but the service is a little slow, probably due to the number of diners. Overall good but not worth the trip, we would be curious to try it again outside the truffle season hoping for better service and food.

Experience to be repeated!!! From the amuse bouche to the coffee...everything perfect! Cozy, elegant and very clean environment; the staff is friendly and prepared; the dishes tasted were presented with an original and at the same time simple plating so that the ingredients were evident: intense and natural flavors made our culinary experience unique; It's hard to describe the wine cellar!
