I'm not a fan of lake fish, but this was excellent. The atmosphere was rustic and welcoming. The owner was very kind. A true glimpse into local tradition.

I stopped by. The friendliness and hospitality are matched by a truly excellent selection of ingredients! Their dishes are different from the usual without taking away the taste and pleasure of eating! Excellent!

It was a good experience, and I highly recommend it! The homemade pasta is delicious, the service is very friendly, it's located on the lakefront and has private parking, and pets are welcome. Definitely recommended.

A small lakeside place that doesn't look like the best, but it's actually where I've eaten the best. It's the only one I've found in Castiglione that sells wine in 1/4 1/2 liter carafes, and I think that's a great thing because it's cheaper, it's good, and sometimes a glass isn't enough, but a bottle is too much. Try the Trasimeno amaro, spectacular.

Hotel Da Angelo Restaurant

04/01/2026: Hotel very close to Assisi. We had a brand new room off the main building, with a bathroom and balcony. Beautiful view. We chose half board, and the breakfast was varied and plentiful, while dinner had a wide selection and generous portions. Free parking. We had a great time. We will return every time we visit Assisi.

06/12/2025: A very beautiful, green setting. The girls in the dining room were very kind and explained many things to us. The food was excellent: there was meat inside a sword that the girls removed while laughing and joking with us. WHY AREN'T YOU INSIDE AND EATING ALREADY???
04/12/2025: The place and decor are beautiful but the Anglo-American pop playlist ruins the atmosphere. I would suggest playing more coherent (e.g. traditional Persian music?) and interesting music.
