While searching for a gourmet restaurant in Bari, I came across La Bul. The good reviews and, above all, the great photos convinced me. I ordered the 8-course menu with matching wine pairings. I was served a harmonious, delicious, and sophisticated menu; each course was a delight, and the accompanying wines were very well chosen. A big compliment also to the service team. They were always friendly and attentive, but never intrusive. Thank you for a wonderful evening!

I had dinner in this restaurant month ago. We chosed for eight course chef’s menu, and it was delicious. Started with some bites with caviar and nice selection of local bread. Every course came as a surprise, there were first three courses of raw fish dishes, then perfectly cooked risotto in fish sauce, then pasta with red prawns and truffle, duck with foie gras and steak, ended with light tiramisu dessert. The atmosphere was nice, we dined in the garden, interior gave vibe of old soul’s presence in the restaurant. Service was excellent, waiter and sommelier were attentive and took good care of us. I truly recommend this place.

Extraordinary restaurant in Bari and a great dining experience. It’s in the City centre and easy to reach. The restaurant has a very welcoming atmosphere - it’s more like sitting in a very tastefully furnished living room, although some of the nice looking chairs could be hard to sit on on a full evening 🙂
The food is excellent, we had the fish based menu and enjoyed every course. Staff is super attentive and very knowledgeable. Wine menu is great with excellent whites and a very skilled sommelier. This is a strong recommendation.

This Michelin restaurant was recommended by the owner of our lodging. We arrived in Bari rather late and decided to do ala carte (the preset menu would be my recommendation). We were lucky that they allowed us to come in near to their closing time. We started with Sea bream tartare with guacamole, caviar and herb (highly recommended). Cappellacci with prawn, sheep ricottas and truffle was fresh and flavorful. Risotto with pork and ricotta cheese was good even though was not as special as the Cappellacci. Btw they gave us complementary various apulian pettole and appetizers. This is a must visit when you are in Bari

What a fabulous way to end my stay in Bari! It doesn't look much from the outside but inside is a whole other story! The food was amazing. Such a variety of tastes and textures and so well thought out and executed. The chef even finished a couple of dishes at the table. The service, both food and wine, was also fabulous and the wine matching (and descriptions) perfect. Thank you to every who made my night so unforgettable. Even the table of incredibly loud and disrespectful Americans at the next table couldn't put a dampener on this one!

Sicuramente al top della ristorazione qui a Bari. Cena perfetta che comincia con un “benvenuto dello chef” che sembra una piccola opera d’arte. Optiamo per un percorso “al buio” con alcune proposte che attingono ai menù storici del locale. E allora comincia una vera parata di preparazioni dove è difficile capire quale sia la più buona. Tartare e sfilettati, trancio di cefalo, tortelli ai gamberi… insomma, ne ho citata solo qualcuna di un percorso che soddisfa dall’inizio alla fine. Pane e grissini “home made”, carta dei vini di assoluto livello. Servizio molto attento. Locale in linea con le aspettative. Lo chef Antonio Scalera dimostra di saper mantenere le promesse di una cucina di alto livello. Complimenti!
