La Bottega di Franco In Bologna

Dinner in the garden was a great experience. The relaxed atmosphere was truly unique, and the dishes were delicious and meticulously prepared (some were plated better than others). I highly recommend both desserts in the photos, as well as the rigatoni neri, tuna roast beef, and tagliata!!! And the croissant with mortadella mousse, wow, almost Michelin-starred! The waiters are friendly and helpful, giving you your time for a relaxing, unhurried experience. The price is medium-high, but for the location and food/quality, it's reasonable. We had everything from appetizer to dessert and spent €158 total, including drinks. ONE NOTE: In such a beautiful garden, you should put a smoking ban. Those who want to relax, and especially those who want to focus on the flavors of the dishes, are disturbed if someone smokes at the next table. Electronic cigarettes are fine, but I would put a smoking ban both out of "respect" for the garden and for the experience of others. 🩷🩷🩷🩷

A characteristic Bologna venue. Excellent food and sophisticated dishes. Impeccable service. Recommended for an intimate evening with friends or couples.

Absolutely beautiful from start to finish, welcomed by lovely staff who couldn’t do enough for you. Food was absolutely amazing and the prices were very good based on the quality of the food. Booked this when I was back in England for our 1st wedding anniversary and I wasn’t disappointed with anything. This is in a remote area and they were more than happy to book us a taxi to get back to our hotel. The highlight of our short trip. Thank you to all the great staff

The restaurant is nestled in a green setting that gives an immediate sense of relaxation: it feels like entering a little refuge far from the chaos of the city. The welcome was warm and the service impeccable, attentive but never intrusive. The menu? Simply top-notch: the freshest ingredients, dishes meticulously presented and flavorful. The wine list is also well-selected and perfectly in tune with the cuisine. Perfect for both a romantic dinner and a relaxed weekend lunch. We'll definitely be back!

A very nice location, a lovely summer garden, and excellent service. The food tends towards gourmet, with prices to match. Definitely recommended for celebrating an occasion.

Ieri 1 maggio , pranzo alla Bottega di Franco, ci siamo andati altre volte, ci piace tantissimo. Sorpresi positivamente da una location originale e ben architettata, si viene accolti da personale gentile e discreto. Il menù è vario e adatto anche ai vegetariani. I piatti sono preparati da abili mani e con materie prime di eccellenza. Si ha la sensazione di essere coccolati con graditi extra non richiesti. Il rapporto prezzo/qualità è anch'esso eccellente. Consigliatissimo!
