Michele is a friendly and sincere host who welcomes you to his tavern, and you can't help but appreciate his kindness. And if the menu offers a varied selection, with dishes with intriguing names like campagnola, gricia di bosco, and pallotta, you simply can't help but try them. All this and more is Bigonza, a genuine tavern with a 1940s soundtrack, gently accompanying you as you eat and drink in complete serenity. The heart rejoices and the mind is freed from all worries in places like Bigonza. Courteous service, affordable prices, and a popular place—well worth returning to.

Wow, the osteria is a tiny little gem...very special...full of paintings and objects with history...the food is excellent and the house wine is also excellent...the bruschetta with top-notch oil...the appetizers and cheeses are delicious...the cannelloni, stuffed celery, and parmigiana are the best...and finally, the rocciata which was also super...five stars plus...

We recently finished eating at this delightful little restaurant, filled with fond memories. Mr. Michele's cuisine is delicious and authentic, the kind that's unfortunately hard to find these days. Given the current situation, we tried the black celery in various ways and were truly satisfied! We tried the October bruschetta, with creamed black celery and pecorino cheese, and the one with Umbrian ciauscolo, mozzarella cream, honey, and caramelized figs, both truly excellent. We continued with the black celery cannelloni, the meatballs, and the stuffed black celery, accompanied by a good house red wine. We concluded the meal with the rocciata, a typical local dessert. This excellent lunch cost us a total of €57... an amount that's too expensive to even cover a pizza these days! Michele, a name you can trust. Here you can touch the sky with just a finger, tasting a dish cooked with love by his wife. The place is one of a kind. There's never a time I come to Umbria that I don't stop by Trevi for dinner at Bigonza. Thank you, Michele and family, for the excellent dinners and the wonderful company. I just left, I can't breathe and make the climb back to the hotel. Why? Because it's like eating at my late grandmother's, that's the best comparison I can think of. All the dishes reminded me of when I used to eat at her place, both in terms of quantity and, above all, in terms of taste. The crostini is absolutely the best I've ever had (and I have the habit of eating out twice a week). The service? It can't be described in words or with stars; it's simply worth trying. Luckily, places like this still exist. Thank you, thank you, thank you

A great place serving traditional Umbrian dishes. We enjoyed the black celery cannelloni and the delicious black celery and walnut cream soup. Recommended.

Ottima qualità dei prodotti ,cortesia , prezzo più che onesto . La location non si può dire sia di lusso ma ma vecchia osteria di "qualche anno fa"

Trattoria familiare con piatti semplicemente spettacolari!!! il servizio è super gestito dal proprietario simpaticissimo e disponibile, la cucina è super !! Da provare ed assaporare il gusto dell'Umbria!!
