Kappador la finestra sui Sassi In Matera

It was an excellent lunch; we ate on the terrace, which has a beautiful view. The dishes were good, especially the peppered mussels and the first course (strascinati with sausage, Matera bread, and crusco peppers on a caciocavallo cream that was out of this world). The ingredients seemed high-quality. My only complaint: the service was a bit slow. Good value (also considering the very central location).

I returned to Kappador after some time away, and I can say that the experience was even better than I remembered. We dined on the terrace with a view, in a truly enchanting atmosphere. Everything was impeccable: attentive service, carefully prepared and flavorful dishes, quality ingredients, and a presentation that demonstrates care and passion. I found a place that had grown, improved in every detail, without losing its distinctive authenticity. An evening with friends that turned into an experience to remember. Congratulations!

A great restaurant with very friendly service and delicious food. The starter and main course were excellent. We visited in mid-May. We got a seat on the roof terrace without a reservation. The view was beautiful. Highly recommended. Great prices for the location and quality.

Cena da solo nel corso di un viaggio di lavoro (suggerito da hotel). Location straordinaria: ha una terrazza panoramica sui Sassi con tavoli idonei a una cena romantica. Ambiente confortevole, accoglienza cordiale, servizio celere e professionale. Piatti ineccepibili: tradizione e buona qualità delle materie prime di base e ottimo lavoro in cucina. Carta dei vini adeguata con in più un dignitosissimo Primitivo servito al calice o in brocchetta come vino della casa. Rapporto qualità prezzo corretto.

Il ristorante Kappador ce lo consigliano sia la guida che l’hotel, e allora tanto vale provarlo. Situato in piazza Vittorio Veneto, vicino al belvedere dei “tre archi”, offre praticamente la stessa meravigliosa vista dalla terrazza privata. Ambiente raccolto, personale attento e dicreto, ma soprattutto cibo ottimo. Direi la nostra migliore scelta a Matera. Si comincia con delle palline di pasta fritta, pane cotto con cime di rapa e peperone crusco, crema di fave con mozzarella croccante, filetto di maialino nero con crosta di pistacchio, entrecote con caciocavallo podolico, e per finire deliziose zeppole e sporcamuso (tipici dolcetti a base di sfoglia fritta e crema pasticcera). Rapporto qualità prezzo corretto. Se in due, per una cena romantica suggerisco di prenotare il tavolo centrale vista Sassi.
