Excellent conclusion for a quick visit to the Langhe. The staff is friendly and the service is attentive, with a precise explanation of the dishes. The location is splendid: we had lunch in the outdoor garden, very well-kept and pleasant. The menu offers both the possibility of choosing à la carte, and two menus - one dedicated to local specialties and one based on fish. The dishes are well executed, abundant and very tasty. The selection of desserts is also interesting, all of which are made by them. Convenient parking nearby.

The appetizers surprise with harmony and originality, such as the “arancinetta allo zafferano su crema di ceci e polvere di olive nere”, refined and enveloping, and the battuta di fassona, embellished with a crunchy wafer with Grana and caramelized onion, which gives depth and freshness to every bite. The first course, the classic tagliarini with white sausage ragù, conquers for the delicacy of the handmade dough and the savoury intensity of the seasoning. The service was impeccable: fast, courteous and never intrusive, capable of making you feel welcomed without rushing. The kindness of Luca and Vittoria, as well as the refined company of Francesco and Valentina Rulfi, made the experience even brighter. A round of applause also for the cleanliness of the premises, with particular mention for the tidy and well-kept bathroom, a detail often overlooked, but here synonymous with attention and respect. In short, Il Verso del Ghiottone is not just a restaurant: it is a place of the soul, where time slows down and each course tells a story. An unmissable stop for those seeking the true essence of gastronomic Piedmont, between beauty, taste and authenticity.

Very interesting restaurant in the old town of Dogliani. The six of us had an excellent dinner. Very friendly and competent service in a pleasant atmosphere. We were completely impressed by the quality and appearance of the food. Highly recommended…

Locale molto piacevole, belli anche i ritratti di star del rock alle pareti, i piatti che abbiamo gustato a cena erano tutti perfetti e ben presentati, i ravioli molto buoni, la vitella tenerissima, il servizio preciso e gentile. Prezzo adeguato alla qualità delle portate proposte.

A few steps from the Dogliani castle, delicious lunch, simple environment with paintings by artists and background music that allows you to converse in peace between one course and another. Simple service, attentive to detail and with the right explanations and advice. A place to ABSOLUTELY try. Perfect account for the HIGH QUALITY of the food. All very good. We can't wait to return

El mejor restaurante en Dogliani. Prueba la comida marina increíble. En fin de semana es mejor reservar porque está muy ocupado. Offcorse la carta de vinos están en orden.
