Best place on our stop to Postitano. Great views, food and service! Get ready for an uphill hike, we were gassed! But it was well worth it!

A magnificent restaurant located in the hills above Positano where you can enjoy delicious al dente pasta with clams or scialatielli with the fish of the day, finishing with a light and flavorful tiramisu that's perfectly balanced! From the antipasti to the main course and dessert, everything is very well-balanced.

Great food — generous cut of veal chop. Tender and char grilled. Sides and plating needs done work though. great location with sea view. It’s halfway up the hill between positano beach and the amalfi highway.

We had a memorable lunch at Il Tridente with the wonderful menu, attentive service, and relaxed atmosphere in the restaurant. We especially enjoyed the seafood catch of the day and the delicious desserts, as well as the excellent wine offerings. Special thanks to Liliana, Margarita, and Caterina for their warm welcome, marking 65 years since our family’s earlier stay at the Hotel Poseidon. Grazie to all for your kind hospitality (which even included driving us to the bus stop after lunch!) Bellissima!

This restaurant is well worth the effort it takes to get a reservation if you aren’t staying at the hotel - every bite of food we had was amazing - especially the gnocchi with scallops and the sea bass, the view was perfect, and the service was friendly but not at all intrusive. Wonderful place to celebrate a special occasion!
