Il Ritrovo In Positano

A very special dining experience in Positano, we came here as recommended by our host, they were able to book us pick up and drop off to our accomodation as well. The food was incredibly fresh, authentic and the drinks were also top notch. The views were amazing, and was a different vibe to the main hub in Positano, highly recommend!

We stumbled upon this restaurant after hiking the “Path of the Gods”. We had a late lunch of wine and various snacks including the salmon bruschetta and a delightful bottle of a locally made “Falanghina” white wine. We made reservations for the following evening and wisely chose to accept the offer of a shuttle versus walking all the way up from Positano again! Dinner was fabulous. Highly recommend, this place. We will be back

had the most wonderful lunch at il ritrovo with paul and team after finishing the path of the gods. paul was so welcoming and took the best care of our table of 7! the food was extremely fresh- paul told us about how some of the ingredients are from his garden! all the pastries are homemade as well. just had the absolute best time and meal- one of our most memorable experiences from our trip to amalfi

It's difficult to walk around because you have to climb stairs. And I wanted to eat grill beef, but I don't think they sell it. The squid shrimp tempura was delicious. I went to read the blog, but the stairs made it difficult and I ended up ruining Positano... haha.

A good meal with colleagues. One of the waitresses was especially nice to us. She was Brazilian although I couldn't find out her name. Good variety of starters and good wine

Firstly it’s up the mountain.. you don’t get the views, but you do on the way up! And to get up there there is a free return transfer from the town, we were actually dropped off in Praiano.. The service is pretty good, if a little slow, but it’s nice to enjoy the lovely ambience of this place.. you feel like it’s an isolated Italian village, tourists and locals mingle together. The food is lovely, although we heard someone says the Beef sirloin was poor. Worth a try..

My family and I stumbled upon this restaurant after completing the ‘walk of the gods ‘ in August 2024 We were hot , sweaty and dusty when we arrived just before opening at midday, however but were made very welcome . This meal was our stand out favourite after 2 weeks in Sorrento and the Amalfi coast ! 5 stars . We had relevantly modest food choices with only a pasta dish and a sweet , albiet i was a little extravagant with the lobster spaghetti, but it was very reasonably priced . The food was superb . the restaurant is clearly very classy with wine and fresh vegetables decorating the interior . I consider myself to be fortunate after reading the reviews to have discovered this restaurant, it’s a real jem ! All the staff were friendly and polite . My family are modest , we were dusty and disheveled , likley looked a mess but every staff member made us feel special and welcome . A great experience, and far from expensive . Thank you . Highly recommend
