Perfect dinner wonderful tagliatelle ai funghi and filetto con i porcini. Very tender meat, home made pasta. Nice location, kind and sympathetic service. Enjoy your food if you happen to be nearby, on lake Maggiore

Good food but endless waiting time, they should speed up a bit

Years ago this restaurant was better, I'm not saying the food was bad, but it was better. The prices, however, were exorbitantly high, for these prices you'd be better off elsewhere.

Beautiful place on the seafront. Good food. Friendly service—perhaps not in line with the (high) food prices. Two main courses, a glass of wine, and an appetizer—€50 per person, in my opinion, is a bit pricey. I'd definitely go back.

Very good, high-quality food, great atmosphere. Helpful and friendly staff. Areas for improvement: Ambience: even better with candles on the table. Service: It's best to avoid sharing unhappy experiences with customers; it's not a sign of good manners. When bringing a plate to the table, you should note if the glasses are empty and promptly ask for a refill. If you use the provided napkins, it would be great if the waiter took them away once used (they took the bread basket but left the used napkins on the table). If a customer stains the leather placemat with sauce, the waiter should wipe it clean for the next course. When asking for the bill, if you need to go to the cashier yourself to pay, the waiter should let you know right away. The cashier could ask the waiter for the table number instead of the customer. Let's be clear: these are all subtleties that don't matter at all for a "true" place, but for a place with a rich history that wants to improve, they could be a great idea.

The minimum price for a "pentolaccia" is €70 and is for two people (it doesn't serve one). It's very well made. The pasta is good quality, but in my case it was slightly overcooked, but I admit that's my preference for al dente pasta.

Open year-round, the restaurant offers lakeside dining with a stunning view in the summer. The staff is very friendly, knowledgeable, kind, and attentive. The quality of the ingredients is top-notch, and in addition to the menu, there are always some very interesting off-menu options. If you're in the area, you have to try it. I recommend making a reservation, otherwise you risk being booked out!

Personale gentilissimo, peccato per le portate, gnocchi con solo 3 vongole e 2 ciuffi di calamari, zuppetta molto scarsa, cibo buono ma niente di eccezionale.
