Fantastic spot for breakfast just up the hill from the train station. The most hospitable owners. The croissants are filled to order. The Sicilian granita with brioche is a must. The eggs and bacon were delicious, too, if you want an American breakfast. The large cafe latte was very large! Follow any suggestions they give and you won’t be disappointed!

A quiet, simple place, away from the center, with a terrace. We arrived looking for a restaurant suitable for celiacs and it was a pleasant surprise. We ate wonderfully, following the kind recommendations of the staff, who were attentive to my allergies and celiac disease. Everything was exquisite, accompanied by the friendliness, warmth, and expertise of Leila, Alba, and Juleysi. Thank you, team!

We ate lunch at this restaurant, run by extremely friendly owners and staff. The vegetarian pesto lasagna was simply wonderful, and the seafood spaghetti was truly delicious. We finished with the panna cotta, served with whipped cream and fresh fruit—a heavenly dessert. If you find yourself in the Cinque Terre, stop by this restaurant. It's definitely worth it. We were offered a glass of coffee granita with cream, and to finish, I tried the ricotta with pistachios... simply wonderful. Thank you for this fantastic lunch. ♥️

I highly recommend this restaurant! I had a delicious seafood pinsa here. The seafood was very fresh, and everything was perfectly prepared and full of flavor. Friendly service and a pleasant atmosphere :)

Absolutely amazing meal. We came here for lunch and got the focaccia sandwiches. We did not expect these to be as amazing as they were- pictures don’t do them justice. Freshly baked. Strawberry Granita was super refreshing. Cannoli was possibly best we’ve ever had. Cold, sweet but not too sweet, fresh shell, and wonderful crunch. Perfectly balanced. Really spectacular experience. Absolutely worth the short walk from town. All tables were shaded- so no worries about sitting in the sun. Peaceful, amazing meal. Service was fast without feeling rushed. Highly recommend.

So far best place overall that we’ve visited in Cinque Terre! We are from Canada and are big breakfast people and the food was incredible! Definitely get the Pistachio Croissant! Also, the service and the whole vibe was amazing. The owner behind the till was so joyful and the waiters were so polite and kind. Definitely a must try if you are ever visiting Vernazza!

IL Pirata delle Cinque Terre was one of the best meals I had during my trip. The food was exceptional. The pasta was packed with seafood, incredibly flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The cannoli with ricotta and pistachio was absolutely amazing—one of the best desserts I've had in Italy.
The service was warm and welcoming, and the whole experience was fantastic. I would 100% recommend IL Pirata delle Cinque Terre to anyone visiting the area. A must-visit!
