The restaurant is nestled within the ancient walls of a 17th-century castle. There are no ghosts, just hard-working people, and the atmosphere makes you feel at home. The traditional food is delicious, with fresh pasta like agnolotti al Barbera, and there's a good wine list.

Nice place with ample parking in the summer you can access the garden excellent quality and price you absolutely have to try the plin alla Marengo

Having stumbled upon this place by chance (chosen almost entirely for its name), we found ourselves immersed in an atmosphere of times gone by. The location, beautiful inside the castle, exudes an ancient yet modern feel. The dishes are exceptional (ALL), the brown stock is exquisite, and a must-try. The service is attentive and courteous, never intrusive but always present. The flavors are delicate yet bold and never banal. A truly pleasant discovery, we'll definitely be back!

Simply perfect, that's all I can say. I had the best roast agnolotti here, and the main courses were truly special too. I had the duck, and my wife had a vegan celeriac dish that didn't make us miss the meat. Friendly and competent service, a truly lovely place. The price was fair for the amount of food.
