great food and great atmosphere

We had lunch at this restaurant on a holiday. Given the large crowds, reservations are required, or at least recommended. The place isn't very large, but there's plenty of seating. The place is beautiful and welcoming, with quick and punctual service. We had a Piedmontese tasting appetizer, which was very good, especially the anchovies on crostini! The roast beef with creamed polenta was good, even if a little tough, but very flavorful; the meat was also excellent. Overall, the food was really good, definitely recommended. One note: there's no children's dish, just the classic pasta with tomato sauce or something similar... we ordered a pasta dish without anything... and we were charged the same as a "mixed" pasta dish... €14!! Now, it's true that we're in Asti, in the center, in a restaurant... but charging €14 for a pasta dish without anything seems excessive to me. A mix of what? Nothing! Oil and cheese, that seems a bit high to me. For the rest, I'd say the prices are average.

Tried it on Saturday for lunch. The place is welcoming and pleasant, the staff is very friendly, helpful, and professional. I found the dishes to be decidedly delicious, made with high-quality ingredients. It was a great experience, and I highly recommend it.

Highly recommended, professional staff, excellent cuisine, great atmosphere

We went with friends for Sunday lunch, and I'd go back every Sunday! Starting with the appetizers, everything was precise and perfect, and the wine (from a winery I already knew) was a perfect match for what we ate. Thanks to all the staff.
