Very good restaurant, very friendly service and not expensive.
Does not feel touristy but very original. I think we were the only for foreign guests that day. This is where you should do your lunch break when travelling on A19 Palermo-Catania!

Writing negative reviews is almost impossible unless it's for reasons other than the service and food.
In fact, we've been going to Daidone for years because everything is always EXCELLENT.
From the service to the food, from the quality of the
raw ingredients to the abundance of the dishes, nothing can be said other than that Daidone represents excellence in catering.
And what about the desserts?? Nothing better I've ever eaten in my life.
Highly recommended.

Excellent lunch!
I was truly satisfied. The dishes were delicious, with fresh ingredients and generous portions. The service was attentive and fast, and the atmosphere was welcoming and refined. A place where you eat well and want to return. Highly recommended!

We travel Sicily extensively, but every time we pass through these parts, a stop at Daidone is an absolute must.
The food, friendly service, and delicious desserts make this place highly recommended.
For us, it's like being at home.

The restaurant is located above a pastry shop. They offered us a bruschetta beforehand. The dishes we ordered were delicious and plentiful. Massimo was very kind and even offered us some complimentary pastries. We highly recommend this restaurant.

Consigliato da persone sul posto. Partiamo dallo staff: cordiali e professionali tutti. Ci hanno accolto con sorriso e gentilezza in una caldissima giornata di luglio. Cibo ottimo. Consigliano di iniziare con gli antipasti misti della casa e non abbiamo mangiato altro perché sono ottimi e abbondanti. Ci hanno coccolato alla fine con i dolci ottimi anche quelli. Prezzo davvero oneste per la qualità dei prodotti. Torneremo senz'altro

Incuriositi da un consiglio ricevuto alla sera a Calascibetta: “… se volete veramente provare la dolcezza siciliana dovete andare da Daidone a Catenanuova…” detto fatto siamo andati il giorno dopo a cercare la pasticceria Daidone… solo che all’ingresso dell’elegante locale ci ha incuriosito la scala che saliva al ristorante, accolti dal cordiale Signor Alessandro non abbiamo saputo rinunciare all’invito di accomodarci ed assaggiare “qualcosina”, cioè un Gran Gala di pesce: le portate non finivano più, direi sontuoso!
Ah dimenticavo alla fine abbiamo assaggiato anche i dolci… (offerti). Vale il viaggio anche solo per la pasticceria: la specialità sono i dolci di mandorla al mandarino.
