Piero is an institution, anyone who loves goodness in Palermo knows him. "The temple of good food" is written at the entrance and the writing is just an introduction to what will be the experience of your palate. Some advice. FOR THE PALATE EXPERIENCE, trust Piero, ask him to make you the mix of appetizers, as varied as possible. I often enjoy these appetizers to death so much that I fill myself with the shoe. FOR THE VISUAL EXPERIENCE, look around, the little place represents a traditional, surreal and poetic Sicilianness. Visit the women's bathroom, very special! RESERVATION RECOMMENDATION, even if it is often so full that they don't have time to answer the phone, in that case try again!

I came across this restaurant located in the square of Mondello, and I was attracted by the decor and the fact that they serve typical Sicilian dishes. It was wonderful, I had a dish of fresh pasta accompanied by shrimp and fish, so incredible in taste and very filling! I really recommend this restaurant, you will not be disappointed!

Una tavolata di quattordici persone, ci siamo alzati tutti soddisfatti, antipasto misto buonissimo, i primi uno più buono dell’altro, io ho gradito molto la “ la Margherita “, la mia amica celiaca è stata coccolata e accontentata in tutto, una menzione speciale alla caponata, ottima. Lo consiglio vivamente.

Che ne si dica del cibo del Sud qui non troverete grasse e pesanti portate in cui vi fa da padrone l’olio. Classica trattoria con vista sul mare che propone piatti tipici realizzati in modo davvero eccellente, si vede che c’è una grande conoscenza della materia prima. Il piatto che ci ha lasciati stupiti è indubbiamente la pasta di don Vincenzo , quelle vongole con pangrattato una volta assaggiate ti avvicinano un po’ di più a Dio. Ottime anche le melanzane della pasta alla norma e il pane della pizza. Prezzo in linea con il luogo.

21/04/2025: We chose this place after looking online and it convinced us. We are quite critical of food and are often not satisfied. This time, however, this restaurant really surprised us positively, from the starter to the first course. I had spaghetti with sea urchins and few times have I eaten such good ones, perfect pasta cooking. My husband had some ravoli stuffed with grouper and seafood, he was also very satisfied, the only "criticism" was the consistency of the sauce, perhaps a little watery but we appreciated that it wasn't full of cream and perhaps this is actually a positive thing. I absolutely recommend this place both for the view and for the staff but above all for the good food, because REALLY good. Very good indeed. Highly recommended
