This experience really started of well but quickly went south…
We went on a Monday evening and it was packed. Here you either need to know Italian or just shout after the waiters since they are so busy.
Sautéed mussels and clams was star of the show nothing complicated good taste and fresh ingredients. Same for octopus.
Then pasta dishes were really mediocre. Lobster pasta were not even al dented cooked it was undercooked more or less and lobster was chewy meaning overcooked.
Clams and shrimp pasta was decent but don’t go for pasta here. Choose the seafood dishes.
Waiting time is very long here so come prepared if you’re not a local.

Pretty high prices and the food was lacking. Octopus was noticably not fresh/cooked properly, pasta was good but had 2 bites of prawn meat. Wouldn't reccomend

The ice cream, cannelloni, and food are delicious, but the coffee isn't really enjoyable. The service is rather unfriendly; we were barely informed that we had to pick up our coffee ourselves inside. Then, in an unpleasant tone, we were asked to change from the service area to the self-service area. Anyway, the location is good, right on the piazza.

A beautiful experience, I've been in Sicily for 15 days but I've never found a place where you eat better ❤️ very nice service with very kind workers and have fun, everything is fantastic ❤️

Lovely service and location. Seems to be open even when other restaurants close but the quality of food is amazing. Had the shrimp fettuccine and risotto a la marinera which was delicious but you need a crisp glass of wine here which ignatio will gladly provide you. Great views of the sea and boats with some shade in mondello.

Authentic taste and unforgettable flavors!
An excellent dinner at Trattoria da Piero in Mondello, where tradition meets authenticity. We ordered the paccheri with shrimp and the spaghetti Don Vincenzo: both excellent, but the spaghetti in particular was superb, an explosion of simple and perfectly balanced flavor, as only traditional dishes can be.
To top it off, a cannoli with ricotta from Piana degli Albanesi: incredibly fresh, creamy, and fragrant. This too was superb.
Friendly service and a genuine atmosphere, as befits a trattoria that focuses on quality. Definitely worth returning!

Una tavolata di quattordici persone, ci siamo alzati tutti soddisfatti, antipasto misto buonissimo, i primi uno più buono dell’altro, io ho gradito molto la “ la Margherita “, la mia amica celiaca è stata coccolata e accontentata in tutto, una menzione speciale alla caponata, ottima. Lo consiglio vivamente.
