Great place, the food is good and you absolutely have to go

As soon as I arrived in Mondello from friends, I was taken to this restaurant. The first impact was to immerse myself in a world where time had stopped at the dolce vita. A riot of colours, scents and joy catapulted me back in time. And then the dishes arrived. I start with a tasting of appetizers, including sardine meatballs in sauce, artichoke with anchovy and grilled bread and octopus. Followed by a sauté of mussels and clams, and finally square spaghetti with squid ink. All the fish was very fresh and impeccably treated. A worthy mention goes to the cooking of the spaghetti, cooked impeccably. The wine was also definitely up to par. Apart from that, Piero, the owner, was a kind and perfect host, with a unique savoir-faire. If you are in Mondello or the surrounding area, don't miss this restaurant or you will regret it.

Che ne si dica del cibo del Sud qui non troverete grasse e pesanti portate in cui vi fa da padrone l’olio. Classica trattoria con vista sul mare che propone piatti tipici realizzati in modo davvero eccellente, si vede che c’è una grande conoscenza della materia prima. Il piatto che ci ha lasciati stupiti è indubbiamente la pasta di don Vincenzo , quelle vongole con pangrattato una volta assaggiate ti avvicinano un po’ di più a Dio. Ottime anche le melanzane della pasta alla norma e il pane della pizza. Prezzo in linea con il luogo.

Intrigued by some reviews (not entirely benevolent) I wanted to try the fried calamari and the octopus salad, accompanied by a good glass of wine... all accompanied by the excellent welcome of the staff!

A real delight, best restaurant of my stay, the clam pasta was really delicious and the red shrimps are the best I have ever eaten, I highly recommend this restaurant

Pranzo all'aperto in buona compagnia, con buon vino e antipasti sfiziosi. Grazie a Fabio e Piero per questa giornata!!!
