When you eat well, in large quantities, and in a beautiful setting, you're always happy to pay. Recommended: Absolutely. The atmosphere is very friendly and has a lovely retro feel, which I really appreciated. The decor is very well-finished, from the traditional table linens to the furnishings. The service is prompt, courteous, and polite. The appetizers are carefully prepared, plentiful, and of excellent quality; I really enjoyed the prosciutto crudo. I had some truly fantastic pumpkin tortelli. The Florentine steak was a bit disappointing; it was probably cooked too quickly or grilled from frozen; it was cold inside. A real shame. A decidedly positive experience, and I'll definitely return.

Superb restaurant! The appetizers were generous as always. The first courses were incredibly flavorful and had generous portions, and the second courses were spectacular too! The desserts, always homemade, were the perfect finishing touch to the meal. The girls were always kind and smiling during service.

If I could, I would have given more than 5 stars. Aside from the truly delicious dishes (which are satisfyingly filling), I found a warm and welcoming atmosphere, with polite staff who are happy to stop and chat. It almost feels like the owners have invited you to dine in their home, and that's enough to satisfy my heart. I'll definitely be back.

Ristorante da Mario ..in Luzzara province of Reggio Emilia ..via Casa Bruciata 16...this is a place where you eat really well ..and you spend the right amount, with very generous first courses ..and really tasty meat second courses..excellent wines ..desserts ..liquors and coffee". In a covered dining room and with plenty of parking spaces outside ..and let's not forget that here there are appetizers of excellent cured meats and cheeses ..to try in this rustic place which is very interesting precisely for its simplicity. But very welcoming and also well furnished.

The portions are generous, so you definitely won't leave hungry. The dessert trolley at the end features all homemade desserts. It doesn't surprise me that it's always busy, and you need to book in advance.
