We had a really good time. We didn't know this restaurant but it was a really nice discovery. Impeccable service in every way. Delicious mushroom gnocchi and very very good cazzarielli. Really good main courses. But the icing on the cake could only be the chocolate dessert made by them. Really excellent quality-price ratio. We will return many more times and we will also be enthusiastic about passing the word on to our friends.

A guarantee...historic place maybe a little too small if full. You will find local, quality products. Homemade and top cuisine. The owner is very sweet I highly recommend it

Typical Abruzzo restaurant in the historic center of Rivisondoli. Characteristic atmosphere, courteous service, varied menu, the food is very good and it is necessary to book to find an available seat. Honest prices.

Without a doubt, one of my favorite places. The food is wonderful and you can perceive the quality of every single ingredient: fresh, processed with care and with great competence. High-level products, carefully selected, without ever missing the opportunity to enhance local excellence. The place is small, welcoming, and the staff is extremely kind: attentive to every detail, from the mise en place to the customers' needs. In the end, it's the details that make the difference. You feel pampered and happy, from the starter to the bitters. Food is truly a 360° experience, and at Giocondo they know this well. Highly recommended!

Typical place with delicious cuisine, from starters to desserts. The super friendly staff was able to guide us especially in choosing the wine (which was also very good). We came across this place a bit by chance, but we will definitely be back.

Excellent local service and quality

You enter and you are already happy to find an environment that is unfortunately small but for this very reason warm and welcoming. The limited number of seats (about 8 tables) often requires a reservation but is also a guarantee of quality of service and, as far as my double experience is concerned, of food. From appetizers to dishes off the menu I have always found good, fresh and well-cooked products. Good appetizer and nothing to complain about for me who comes from mountain areas where cured meats and cheeses are of excellent quality. Tasty first courses, especially the gnocchi with chestnut flour and porcini mushrooms. All to be tried. Excellent lamb and meat in general. Even the "homemade" French fries. Equally good desserts, especially the homemade tarts. The service in my case has never sinned. The girl in the dining room is always smiling and helpful. Even the bill does not cause surprises (know how to choose the wines....I find the house one more than acceptable) and the prices are in line with the quality/quantity of the dishes. You can go to Giocondo with your eyes closed for a pleasant lunch in a simple, warm and relaxing environment unless you expect to stay far away from other tables.

La qualità di una cucina si percepisce da subito, dall'odore che senti quando entri in una locanda. Da Gioacchino è una piccola trattoria (per me l'accezione migliore rispetto a ristorante) dove, innanzitutto, sanno come accogliere il viandante. Poi viene il cibo: un buonissimo tagliere di affettati e formaggi di altissima qualità affiancato da una giardiniera fatta in casa (io non amo la giardiniera) da leccarsi i baffi. Superlativa la zuppa di lenticchie e castagne ma di pari livello è lo spaghettone alla chitarra con aglio, olio, peperoncino e funghi porcini. Essendo abbondanti le porzioni, abbiamo saltato il secondo concedendoci zucchine e melanzane grigliate, broccoli saltati e patate fritte tagliate a mano e fresche: una delizia che ti riporta indietro nel tempo. Non c'era più spazio per il dolce e nemmeno per prenotare il giorno successivo. Ma anche questo diniego ci è stato presentato con gentilezza e cortesia. Attenzione ai tempi, alla mise en Place ed ai rimpiazzi. Il tutto per un prezzo anche al di sotto della media delle restanti cucine della zona. Merita sicuramente una seconda visita e tutto il successo che al momento riscuote. Complimenti!

Giocondo è ormai un appuntamento fisso. Parto dall'unico difetto ( che poi difetto non è...) locale piccolo, non propriamente caratteristico ma anche negli arredi c'è personalità. Come personalità e professionalità nella gestione dei due turni per la cena. Personalità nella cucina, tipica ma non banale direi deliziosa e gustosa anche con proposte fuori menù. Servizio accogliente disponibile rapido, ma mai scortese e... proattivo nota distintiva della titolare. Conto assolutamente economico, ma è l'emblema di una conduzione familiare attenta e ben organizzata. Complimenti ... rinnovati.
