Very good, very nice and great service, very tasty food, well prepared as befits a restaurant of its category.

If you are looking for a reasonably priced Michelin-worthy restaurant, this is a good choice. If you are expecting the quality of a starred restaurant, you may be a little disappointed, but overall, in Cefalu, where prices are high, this is a satisfactory level.

We enjoyed an epic meal at Cortile Pepe, among the best dining experiences we’ve had, and we’ve eaten at some amazing restaurants around the world. This one was hands down one of our favourites. I couldn’t recommend Cortile Pepe highly enough. The 5 Michelin Awards displayed proudly on the door should be indication enough, however, once inside the experience is nothing short of exceptional. The service strikes that perfect balance between polished and personal — attentive without being intrusive. The setting is intimate yet refined, with a courtyard that feels like a hidden gem tucked beneath the Cefalù stars. But it’s the food that steals the show. Each dish was thoughtful, inventive, and deeply rooted in Sicilian tradition — elevated to something unforgettable. From the amuse-bouche to the final petit four, every plate was a masterclass in balance and flavour. Local ingredients, delicate technique, and bold creativity come together in ways that left us genuinely blown away. It’s not just a meal at Cortile Pepe — it’s an experience. One that lingers long after the last sip of wine.

My recent dinner at Cortile Pepe was an enchanting experience that left me eager to return. Nestled in the heart of Cefalù, this restaurant immediately captivated me with its stunning venue. The highlight is undoubtedly the beautiful terrace tucked inside the building – a hidden gem that creates an incredibly intimate and romantic atmosphere. The architectural charm combined with thoughtful lighting made for a truly magical dining setting. The staff’s warmth and professionalism elevated the entire experience. From the moment we arrived, every team member demonstrated genuine hospitality and attention to detail. Their knowledge of the menu and wine pairings was notable, making us feel genuinely welcomed and well-cared for throughout the evening. Speaking of wine, the by-the-glass selection was excellent. What appeared to be the owner personally recommended a perfect pairing that enhanced my meal beautifully. His passion for wine was evident and his suggestions spot-on. The food quality was excellent overall. The tuna starter was absolutely sublime, in my view. So perfectly prepared and tender that it literally melted in my mouth. However, I must mention that while the Calamaro BBQ had wonderful flavor, it was disappointingly chewy and hard in texture. This single issue prevents me from giving the food a perfect rating. Despite this one concern, everything else was simply great. The combination of the stunning venue, exceptional service, excellent wine program, and largely superb cuisine makes Cortile Pepe a must-visit destination in Cefalù. I will definitely be back, if around again.

Today we are sitting in the courtyard, a hidden oasis of taste, style and tranquility. The service? Attentive without that forced fuss, just warm and knowledgeable. And the dishes? No standard arancini or margherita, but surprising creations with a modern twist, here you can taste the culinary journey of discovery that the chef wants to share with you. Yes, it is a bit more expensive, but every bite is worth the investment. For those who want to treat their taste buds and really experience Cefalù: CortilePepe is your destination. A very good experience at Cortile Pepe in Cefalù, on a Sunday lunchtime. The atmosphere was calm and serene, and we were able to enjoy our meal in a beautiful setting. The team took great care of us, offering good advice on wine selection and quality dishes! Thanks to the chef!

The food was alright but nothing special in terms of flavor. I had expected much more for that price range. At least the service from the staff was top-notch.

One of those evenings that stay in your heart (and your palate). Each dish was a small masterpiece, cared for down to the smallest details, with balanced flavors and magazine-like presentations. Appetizer: a light but refined start, with surprising combinations. First course: creamy, enveloping, fragrant. Comfort food with a gourmet touch. Quando la bravura , la professionalità , la competenza , il grande rispetto per le materie prime , si unisce ad un'ottima mano, ad una location di classe , e ad un personale estremamente Cortese e professionale, il risultato non può che essere eccellente. Tutto stupendo, dalla carta dei vini, ampia e complessa, ad un menù che mostra un grande rispetto per la materia prima, che emerge nella genuinità dei piatti, ma anche nel modo con cui le materie sono trattate. Menzione d'onore per il dolce, la tatin alle mele è incredibile. Stra-stra consigliato.

Location molto bella situata nel centro storico di Cefalù. Le portate erano presentate molto bene. Si nota sicuramente una grande ricercatezza sia nei sapori che nel dettaglio per rendere ogni cibo unico. Tutto ciò però viene in secondo piano di fronte alla gentilezza dei padroni di casa e di tutto il personale di sala. Essere trattati con questa cortesia e disponibilità nonostante la presenza di 3 figlie piccole non è da tutti! Siamo usciti dal locale felici sia per le pietanze gustate che soprattutto per il trattamento ricevuto!!
