Cantina Piemontese In Milano

The atmosphere was great and the service was fast.

My family and I had dinner here tonight after a full day of exploring the city. We arrived around 8 PM without a reservation, casually dressed and with two younger kids... clearly not the ideal setup for a more formal dinner. Even so, the manager (or owner) welcomed us with genuine hospitality and found us a cozy table indoors. The service throughout the evening was excellent. Our waitress was attentive and friendly. The food was also exceptional! The pasta, ravioli and mashed cod were fantastic and the Sauvignon Blanc by the glass hit the spot. Huge compliments to the entire team and a special thanks again to the manager/owner for being so accommodating and gracious. Tip: I’d definitely recommend booking in advance and asking for a table outdoors. The garden space is beautiful and full of charm. That said, the indoor setting is equally inviting and made for a great dining experience.

Gnocchi with duck ragu was delicious. French cheeses were a nice surprise. Ti amo.

Very nice place and elegant atmosphere. The appetizers were very interesting and of good quality. The only thing we didn't like was that it was my daughter's birthday, and the restaurant only served chocolate cakes. So we brought a small apricot tart with us and had it served. They charged us 3 euros each for the service charge. They could have avoided this charge.

A delightful Piedmontese discovery in an intimate, romantic setting in a quiet Milan neighborhood away from the hustle and bustle of tourism. For French tourists, I recommend the Nebbiolo, which will remind you of the fruity and floral notes of Burgundy.

Great atmosphere and even better food

Becoming my favourite Milanese restaurant! The staff are professional yet affable, the location elegant and sophisticated without being stiff and the food…simply spectacular! The menu changes with the seasons but always offers traditional plates from the Italian Northwest done exquisitely. And the wines are some I have never seen or heard of before! My selection tonight for appetiser was the Tonno di Coniglio (think rabbit rillettes) and the the Brandacajun (whipped potato and baccala with pine nuts, parsley and garlic)

Romantic and welcoming atmosphere, carefully prepared and flavorful dishes. Excellent and consistently attentive service. Excellent wine list and delicious desserts. Ideal for a special evening. In short, a haven of elegance and authentic flavors. Bravo!

La terrasse ombragée et végétalisée est fort agréable. Le service efficace. Les plats et le vin de qualité. Je ne vois pas de raison de n'y pas vous y rendre en toute confiance.

Serata piacevolissima, con amici. Location elegante e discreta, senza musica di sottofondo (!!!). Una lievissima lentezza nel servizio è giustificata dall'avere tutti i tavoli occupati, ed è più che compensata dalla qualità dei cibi: ravioli del plin con salsa e tartufo, peperoni ripieni ed uno spettacoloso zabaione. Grande scelta di vini anche "importanti". Conto importante ma adeguato alla qualità del cibo, alla scelta dei vini ed al garbo del servizio. Da consigliare!
