This historic restaurant in the Porta Venezia area offers classic dishes prepared with great care. The quality of the cuisine, combined with the attentive service, makes it an excellent choice for lunches and dinners with colleagues or friends.
It's less suitable for a romantic dinner, however, as the interior spaces are rather intimate and the noise level can reduce the feeling of privacy.
The outdoor seating is very pleasant, especially ideal during the spring and summer. Highly recommended!

A great place to eat fish, it's just a little small and when it's full the noise level is a little high.

A typical Sardinian trattoria in Milan. Good quality ingredients, friendly staff, but above-average prices.

Excellent Sardinian cuisine. My only regret is being charged for a bottle of water we didn't see.

Located in a quiet area of Milan, Ristorante Cala Luna welcomes guests with a warm and friendly atmosphere, typical of Sardinian hospitality. It's not just a seafood restaurant, but a true gastronomic journey through the island.
The Gastronomic Experience
The menu is a celebration of tradition. Here are the most memorable highlights:
Appetizers: Don't miss the mixed seafood appetizer, the freshest raw fish, and the ever-present panadas or octopus with potatoes.
First Courses: The great classics are masterfully executed. The Campidanese-style malloreddus have a home-made flavor, and the culurgiones (strictly hand-sealed) are soft and flavorful.
Second Courses: The fresh fish of the day, grilled or salt-cooked, preserves the aromas of the Mediterranean. For those who prefer meat, the porceddu (pre-ordered) is guaranteed to be crispy.
Desserts and Digestives: You can't leave without trying the hot seada with bitter strawberry tree honey, accompanied by a glass of chilled artisanal myrtle liqueur.
Ambience and Service
The restaurant is simply yet tastefully decorated, evoking the colors and textures of Sardinia. The staff is one of its strengths: courteous, knowledgeable, and ready to recommend the best pairings with wines from the cellar (the Vermentino and Cannonau are excellent).
Why go?
"Cala Luna is the ideal place for an intimate dinner for two or a large family meal, where authentic food takes center stage. The quality-price ratio in Milan is decidedly fair for the freshness offered."
